Cabin on the River- Le Chaleureux

Come and relax in our little piece of heaven!
The cottage is located about 1 hour from Ottawa, with no immediate neighbors, and sits on the banks of the Picanoc River. Nestled on 14 acres of land.

You will have the opportunity to practice various activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

We are happy to welcome your pets.

**IMPORTANT:** The chalet is located at 226 Chemin de l'Hermite and does not appear on Google Maps. Please refer to the photos (Map) to find the chalet.

This open-concept chalet will immerse you in the world of trappers, with two double beds in the main chalet and two double beds in the secondary chalet, which can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. You will discover a haven of peace, lulled by the sweet melody of nature.

The chalet offers amenities such as Wi-Fi and electricity. However, note that no running water is available during the winter. We provide dry toilets and two 5-gallon drinking water tanks, which can be replaced upon request.

It's the ideal refuge to disconnect and get back to basics. The chalet is warm and friendly, perfect for relaxing by the fire, playing board games or exploring the forest.

Great weekend

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the fishing and being out on the river, the cabins are amazing and give a nice sense of being at a lodge

This is a beautiful spot and the cabins were very well equipped.It's was private and my dog absolutely loved it there.The host was very responsive and drinking water was provided for us.We hope to book here again!

A very special happy place!

This beautiful property, with the wonderful cottages, and peaceful lake, is the place to go for relaxation and creating special memories! The wood throughout is gorgeous!The hosts are great, and the cleanliness is amazing! Thank you Jessica and Adam for everything! This definitely exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful stay at Jessicas cabins. Everything was smooth and the place at the river is amazing to enjoy time with your loved ones and observe wildlife (especially the beaver:). The kitchen has everything you need and we even had warm showers. We visited friends and family in the area and the two cabins were perfect for people to stay over. Thank you again for everything Jessica! Definitely coming back!

Our stay at Le Chalereux was perfect. It had everything we were looking for and more. Lots of privacy which was ideal for travelling with a dog who is reactive with other dogs, so we appreciated how truly secluded the property was. It was great to be able to relax for a couple of days with a view right on the river. We really appreciated our time at this property and thank the host for their hospitality.
