Amazing stay and amazing people!

We had the best time staying here with our family for a ski vacation. The home is spacious, accepts dogs and has the most incredible view. It's also only 10 minutes from the mountain and even closer to downtown. We had an issue with a stay we were at before and the rental agency helped us get into this home early. Which was incredible. They were so kind and helpful, we will only rent from them when we stay in Rangeley moving forward!

The property is pretty new and still smell new wood scent. Great location next to a golf course and fitness center! A few minutes drive to downtown! A supermarket is right next to it. The house face lake with beautiful water views! Plenty of space for big group! We enjoyed it very much! The property management is very responsive and helpful!

We saw a bunch of deer nearby and two ducks in the yard! Morton & Furbish was excellent at responding and fixing a maintenance issue. We will definitely stay here again!

The deck where we relaxed with a cup of coffee or cocktail has a beautiful view of Lake Rangeley! The home is relatively new, very clean, and the kitchen was adequately equipped with everything we needed to prepare several meals. While it’s probably not a concern most of the time in northern Maine, we happened to be in Rangeley during the hottest days of the summer 2025, and the main level with direct sunlight in the afternoon was pretty hot. Morton and Furbish, the managing rental company, was a pleasure to work with. Their representatives were friendly, prompt to respond and very helpful.

Best view in Rangeley!

We enjoyed staying at Winterfell so much. I am so happy this home is dog friendly; our one-eyed beagle, Snoopy, had a great time relaxing with us. The home is very close to downtown Rangeley and Saddleback. It's fully equipped with everything you need. The house was very clean when we arrived. The best thing about this home is the view. Winterfell has the best view in Rangeley! We would definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful and spacious. We found it very clean EXCEPT for the love seat in the loft which was covered with pet hair. I understand it’s a pet friendly property and we even brought our Maltese (doesn’t shed), but I would think that all couches would be vacuumed for pet hair given that it’s a pet friendly property. The couches in the living room and basement were clean so it’s a bit baffling why the loft loveseat was not. The overall house, bed linens and towels were very clean and we appreciated that.It was surprising to learn that if we ran out of a basic necessity such as toilet paper, we’d have to supply that on our own. Luckily we didn’t. We asked for extra trash bags (we were only left 2) and paper towels and they were readily supplied and replenished along with extra bath towels since we didn’t want to do laundry. Note there is a washer and dryer but note that guests have to supply their own laundry detergent/dryer sheets. We love to cook and found the kitchen a bit lacking. It could’ve used a bit more in terms of more basic spices and baking supplies. Luckily we travel with our own spices /provisions. Also a bit surprised that there were no napkins supplied. We used paper towels since that was readily supplied/replenished.Overall, the property is beautiful and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck and from the great room. We enjoyed our time in Rangeley and at Winterfell.
