Cozy
Great except the bathroom sink backs up, afraid to take a shower, and the hot plate doesn't work

From the owner: "Hi Michael, thanks for your feedback. I was on-site Sunday and Monday and have since fixed both the bathroom sink and hot plate. We're a remote property, and our extended hours begin Memorial Day weekend—details are on our Facebook page. I hope you’ll consider staying with us again."

Cozy cabin in a friendly mountain community
We aren't from the area and booked this place on a whim just to get away in the mountains for a spring weekend. The place is just as advertised. It is a small cabin on the same lot as the Mercantile, which is a small convenience store+bar, and is run by the same very friendly and helpful lady. It is a cabin, not a hotel room, but if you're expecting a cabin it will meet expectations. It is one block from Bambii Inn. Food is a bit of an issue in the spring on weekdays, there is nothing to buy after 5pm, but Stacy at the Mercantile stayed open later than her closing time to make us a pizza which saved us a long drive back to Chico for food. The people around were extremely friendly, we made friends over beers at Bambii Inn, and plan to come back.
