Cozy Cottage Retreat on Georgian Bay – Your Perfect Escape Awaits!

Comfortable and spacious, fully equipped 2 bedroom waterfront cottage for your summer or winter getaway! Excellent location- only 1hr & 1/2 from the GTA. Minutes from Victoria Harbour, just outside of Midland. Enjoy the convenience of nearby shops, groceries, LCBO, and restaurants while overlooking the beauty of the southern shores of Georgian Bay! Truly the best of both worlds! Nearby attractions include Sainte Marie Among the Hurons, Martyr’s Shrine, Wye Marsh, Tay Trail, Golf, and skiing.

This cozy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and Keurig Coffee machine. The living room is a great space with a pull out sofa, fireplace, and smart tv. The large dining table in the dining room can host all your guest meals while looking out on gorgeous views of the water. Enjoy the bbq while sitting out on our large deck overlooking the bay and gorgeous sunsets. You can recline in the evening roasting marshmallows, sitting around the fire pit which is close to the water.

There is private parking on site for 3 cars. There are 2 bathrooms in the Cottage. The second bathroom is downstairs as well as laundry facilities. Guests have full use of the property including the deck, dock and yard. We have a paddle boat, canoe, kayak and bicycles on site for guests to enjoy during their stay.


This Cottage is a pet-free, smoke free location. Please note we have neighbours on both sides so please keep noise to a minimum.

The property was very clean and well appointed - with all the necessary amenities which was great given that it poured rain 50% of the time we were there. While the location is great for easy access to stores and restaurants - we would have preferred a bit more remoteness and privacy instead. If that is a not priority for you - then you will love this rental. Communication was awesome and check in and out a breeze.

My family stayed during the end of winter and beginning of spring. Our stay was perfect during the winter! The kids had plenty of room to play in the snow and we were close to a local park. We had everything we needed and the host ensured the driveway was plowed. We had a little pest control issue at the end of our stay with ants and spiders but one should expect that with the change of seasons into spring. We would definitely rent this place again.

Nicole was an amazing host. She replied extremely quickly and was very kind about answering any type of question- from how the grandkids might enjoy the property, to where to find things.She left great instructions on how to work all the appliances, a/c, remotes and bbq.One of the best things was that all of the things she offered were in great condition and worked. The bikes were in good working order, with an air pump in the shed and there were all sizes for children to adults.The canoe & kayaks were clean and easily moved to the water, and the lifejackets were new and in safe condition.The place was spotless, and the extras she offered as a host were great.I'd go back there anytime. It was very enjoyable.Nicole was a wonderful host.

We enjoyed our stay at this property with some reservations:- living room, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and bbq/deck were clean, modern and functional except the lights had a lot of insects in them and the sofa bed in the dining room had not been cleaned.- There was no hair-dryer available.- the mattress in the master bedroom sinks in the middle.- Kitchen knives were all dull and the ice in the ice-maker tasted like garlic. - the light switches were a little confusing to use. The lights above the dining table were not bright enough.- A/C ventilation in the bedrooms was lacking as the main A/c unit is not connected to the bedroom vents.- we thought we could swim near the dock but the water was not swimmable

Healing and restfull

I needed to stay in the area after knee surgery in Midland.This cottage was great for that minimal stairs outside. all amenities on the main floor and a sunny deck outside to relax on.Main bathroom is Small but workable.A larger bathroom located in the basement level that worked well for guests that could manage them.
