Kathleen and her group were wonderful guests! They were respectful of the property and a pleasure to host. Communication was smooth, and I would be happy to welcome them back anytime. I would gladly recommend Kathleen and her group to other hosts!
The host is particularly responsive. Lovely property within walking distance to everything — especially the festival theatre. There is parking for two cars and the property comfortably housed my party of eight. Two full baths each with a shower and one with an additional tub. Plus a 1/2 bath for convenience. A market is a few blocks away.
It’s a fantastic location and property. The owner was very friendly and responsive to our questions. One minor concern was that my group thought the washrooms were not as clean as they could be.
The only comment I would make is that the picture of the house needs to be updated. Everything was great, just as it was the year before.

It was a pleasure hosting Wilma. She took great care of the home, followed house rules, and left everything in excellent condition. Communication was smooth throughout her stay. I would definitely welcome her back anytime!
The house was very conveniently located, since we were in Stratford for the Theatre Festival. Communication with Abdullah was very good; he always responded promptly to any inquiries. One unusual aspect was that the Master Bedroom - which had its own very nice bathroom - had no clothes closet available, nor a bureau/dresser to put clothes in. If you are staying in that room you literally have to live out of your suitcase. It was great having a washer/dryer available. We had been told that there was street construction in front of the house; what we weren't told was that the street was completely torn up for water/sewer replacement. For most of our stay the street was impassable, or barely passable. To his credit, Abdullah did reduce our charge by 15% (also, the neighbors told us they hadn't been truly informed about the scale of the work to be done). On the whole, a very good accommodation, especially for larger families or groups looking to stay in Stratford longer-term.
Large, excellent property, with all of the essentials in place, clean and ready to go. Only a few minutes walk to the Festival theatre and a little further to the other two. We had a wonderful three days there.
Check in was smooth and our stay was comfortable with plenty of room for our group. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked which helped us to feel at home for our visit. It was great to be able to walk to all theatres in the festival. The owner lives on-site in the lower level with a separate, private entrance.
Great host, clean and very comfortable home loved it THANK YOU

Thank you so much, Jocelyne! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and felt comfortable in our home. It was a pleasure hosting you — you’re welcome back anytime!
Spacious four bedroom, convenient to theatre / shops / restaurants / outdoor spaces, good parking, quiet area. There is an apartment in the basement, and sound travels to the first floor but not to the bedrooms.
Very spacious, bigger and better than the pictures. Parking spaces available. Host very responsive.

“It was a pleasure hosting Cathy! She was respectful of the house rules, left the place clean, and communicated well throughout her stay. I would gladly host her again and highly recommend her to other hosts. Thank you, Cathy!”
While our host was responsive and friendly, we need to raise an important issue. The street the house is on is completely torn up and being replaced, including the underlayment, sewers, and utilities. This was a complete shock and surprise to us and not included in the listing. After viewing municipal documentation, the project was approved in January of 2025 and began that Spring. Phase I was complete in December of 2025. We booked our reservation in late December. Phase II began in late April of 2026. This caused a great inconvenience to us and we felt our presence as renters was intrusive to homeowners. If we had known about the project, we would not have booked this property. In addition, there were no instructions left for us, including for appliances, or any rules.
The house is very nice, the backyard area not finished yet. It could use some more seating at the kitchen island and at the table. Also, it should be noted that the Host is living in the basement. The kitchen could use some actual tea towels. All beds and bathrooms were great. Close to downtown 4 or 5 blocks to walk. All in all the stay was comfortable - could use a "booklet" setting out Wifi password, things about the house and what events, places to see while in Stratford.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
We had a group of six ladies rent for a two night stay. There is parking for two cars in the driveway. The house was nice for our stay. We had an issue with the door not locking and it was taken care of the second day. We had to go out and leave the house unlocked with all of our stuff in it the first night. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the home. As soon as you walk in the front door you see dirty baseboards. The powder room smells a lot like cigarette smoke and the pocket door looked like it was covered in urine. There was an odor in the house that caused us to be congested. It was just a short stay so we just rolled with it and had a great weekend together. I would give it a better rating if they had it cleaned properly for us to use. The owner was very friendly when he called and came to fix the lock. FYI they stay in the downstairs so if you will be loud it might not be a great option. They left for one of our nights so it was just us there.
it was poorly maintained, and some surprises that i was unaware of. the house was dirty, for 2022 build it is showing wear and tear. the bathrooms smelled like an ash tray, for the price you do NOT have the house alone. p4eople live downstairs and you hear them, smell their cooking and hear the cat right behind locked basement door. old bedding, broken tv, bare min. in kitchen, smells like a cheap hotel. appears they just use cover spray for cleaning. very disappointing stay. not worth half the price
