Firstly the view was absolutely awesome. Huge kitchen,hot spa and good heating really helped us enjoy our time. Location was perfect, close to all Tekapo's shops, eateries and walks.Two minutes drive to Tekapo springs outdoor pools and tube ride. Overnight temperature was minus 4-6 Celsius and day was 4 degrees. So dress for cold in June/ July. But the apartment was warm as toast. Lit the fire for nice atmosphere. We have dozens of photos from the deck and out kitchen window, beautiful mountain and lake vistas. Patchy wifi but who cares about that.

Convenient. Quiet. Nice view from the hot tub to the lake and mountain in the distance over a lovely flower garden. Electronic lock easy to open but takes a few attempts at timing to get to lock. Full kitchen. Even milk for coffee in the fridge. Everything we needed but a washing machine. We’ve been traveling three weeks and I missed this house didn’t have this feature. Someone in maintenance inadvertently dropped 9 new nails and screws scattered across the parking but no harm. Highly recommend.
