This property was very well appointed and had everything you need. The interior is beautiful and the exterior is the bluest waters we have seen. Highly recommend. Easy and smooth check in and support from Nir. One mention is there is some road noise you hear from inside however it didn’t bother or detract from our stay- just something to be aware of.

I think staying in an overwater bungalow is an absolute MUST for Bora Bora, and there's no better way than with The Black Pearl. Much more affordable than the resorts and you have the entire place to yourself with a great part of the island right in front of you. A VERY well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook many great meals (and BBQ'd Tuna!) and tasty blended cocktails without ever leaving the water.The home has everything you need. Solid AC washing machine dishwasher, a spacious amount of room for clothes, a kayak to explore on your own, an unreal view, and a very helpful guide to the island who you can book tours through.Unlike many vacation rentals, Richard's space feels lived in and like you're at your own home. There is charm and comfort in every detail. The only downside is that eventually you do have to checkout...

This property was very special! Clean, private, amazing views and outdoor space. The hosts were so nice and responsive. It was fun to stay on the main island and be a part of the local culture vs the resorts on the outer strip. 10/10, don’t even think twice about booking this property, just book it and know you’re in for a treat. AMAZING!!

The bungalow was everything we'd hoped for and more. The furnishings were tasteful, very spacious rooms, area secluded. There was a small reef right off the deck, and you could always see fish. The local property manager, Nir, was exceptional. His wife met us at the ferry dock and gave us our rental car with check-in instructions, along with a local cell phone to use during our stay. At the end of the stay, Nir drove us back to the dock. Staying here was much better than staying at one of the larger resorts, highly recommend!

Very open spacious bungalow. Has a/c mini-split. Modern kitchen with most amenities. Tv is stream only. Has laundry washer with drying line on porch. Barbeque on porch. Lower dock for easy water access. Excellent views and location was convenient to services. Manager Nir was excellent, very communicative. Arranged a snorkel trip for us last minute. Arranged rental car for convenient transportation at a very reasonable price. Excellent price for everything involved especially compared to resort properties!!

Spectacular stay-we didn’t leave the bungalow except for going out to eat. We just sat on the back balcony and stared at water, watched boats, planes, while reading and being present. Perfect stay for couples that like and love each other

Wonderful stay!

We celebrated our anniversary here, and enjoyed it very much. The local managers were extremely helpful when checking in and out, and we would definitely recommend renting the car you will need directly from them. Overall a wonderful stay.

We've never experienced a total relaxation immersion as the Black Pearl overwater bungalow. It is totally private and is heaven on earth. Going to sleep with a trade wind and lapping coral bay and waking to a rising sun and massaging trade wind is magic. We will definitely rebook.

Best place to stay with easy access to the water. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Lots of activities are avaliable as well. The bungalow was exceptional. A grill on the back patio as well as a kayak to paddle arpund in.

Wonderful vacation

Everything about this place was fantastic. We loved it from start to finish. The only problem was that it was our time here was too short. Swimming right off the dock was a favourite for us, the area was quiet and peaceful, and Nir was so helpful.

Better than Photos

My new husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Not only was booking with Richard easy, the entire trip was made simple and the bungalow was better than what we imagined. If we ever make it back we will definitely be booking with Richard again and we will be suggesting this stay to all of our loved ones.

Great stay! On the quiet part of the island (about a 15 minute drive from the main town area). Nice house with a working AC. Not really luxurious, but it is a great place to stay for a great price point. Highly recommend a car or scooter if you're staying here. Clean upon arrival and the check in process was simple. The hosts gave us a phone to use during our stay and they were quick to respond to all inquiries. The BBQ grill was fantastic. We used it a few times and cooked meals at home. The area immediately around the bungalow isn't all that great for snorkeling due to depth of water and a lot of boat traffic. It's quiet and a nice experience. Bring a Fire Stick for the TV if you want apps other than Netflix. WiFi was great. Bathroom was spacious and has great water pressure and hot water. No issues at all during our stay. Beautiful view from the back porch staring at the blue water in the distance.
