About this property
Boardwalk by the Bay
This is a newly listed, newly renovated, and ideally located fully self-contained unit. You will be close to everything when you stay at Boardwalk by the Bay. A one-minute stroll to the boardwalk gets you on the beach, or continue walking to the jetty, restaurants, cafes, and shops.
This compact and cosy 2-bedroom unit on the beach side of the road has everything you could need for a quick getaway or extended holiday to explore the many attractions the beautiful Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
Open plan full kitchen/living area with island bench and 4 stools, a lounge area with a large modular sofa and smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a Nespresso coffee machine and a sleeve of pods, Soda Stream, microwave, toaster, kettle, bread-making machine, food processor, herbs, spices, oil, vinegar, and condiments. A large range of pots, pans, trays, platters, and cooking utensils.
Each bedroom has built-in robes with hanging space, shelving, and drawers. Each ensuite has a toilet, shower, vanity, and medicine cabinet for all your toiletries. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are included. A European laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer, a vacuum, a mop, and cleaning products. Please note: this unit can accommodate up to 5 people, but it would be quite crowded and is ideally suited to 4 adults.
Access the key safe on the side wall of the unit next to the fence. A unique guest code will be provided on the day of check-in.
We do not live in the area, but we are not too far away if needed. We will always be accessible by phone or email.
Rosebud is a seaside town on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, approximately 80km south of Melbourne CBD. It is a very popular tourist area, particularly in the summer months, with those who love sandy beaches and appreciate calm, shallow waters.
Aside from the crystal clear water of the bay, the peninsula is home to more than 200 vineyards and at least 50 cellar doors, breweries, restaurants, and distilleries. There are world class golf courses, thermal springs and spas, walking tracks and hiking trails, thrift shops, markets, farmgate produce, homesteads, gardens, museums, open air cinema, adventure parks, tree surfing, historic lighthouse, Arthurs seat gondola rides and Point Nepean national park....just to name a few.
There is a free parking spot directly in front of the unit and ample free parking on the street as well as on the reserve directly next door.
A local public bus (Number 788) can take you North, or as far south as Point Nepean National Park. The bus stop is just outside.
However, if you prefer to put your keys down and forget about the car, you can easily walk to cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, Rosebud Central, and beyond.
This unit faces a busy road, meaning the sound of traffic can be heard during the day. The traffic is minimal overnight, but can be heard particularly from the front bedroom. If this is possibly an issue for you, consider sleeping in the back bedroom or reconsider altogether.
There are two security cameras at the property, one in the front overlooking the car space and one in the back overlooking the path to the clothesline. These can and will be reviewed in the case of any incident or issue.
