Perfect, Perfect, Perfect

This place was absolutely awesome, Perfect amount of space for our family of 5. Great to separate the kids from the adults. Everyone had a nice little chill out area, mine was the deck with a cold beer. Safe secure off street parking. The kitchen was great, we got everyone together to cook every evening. Highly recommend AAA

Wonderful modern apartment in a very beautiful part of Bendigo! This Apartment has everything you need for a great stay. Nestled in tranquil Spring Gully you have access to sporting facilities, walking tracks and dog off leash cricket ground while still being close to the city centre!

Greg ruined our holiday as we were lied to and are disappointed with him.We booked and confirmed to stay here for 2 nights Sat and Sun (4 and 5 Oct). On Thu before the weekend, I messaged the host, Greg, via Stayz to inform him of our ETA on Sat of 7.30pm. I received a reply to contact him 20-30 mins before arrival. He also sent me a SMS on Fri morning with his phone number, which I replied saying OK.On Sat, I rang him around 7.20pm but after a few rings, it went to voicemail and I sent him a SMS to inform him of our pending arrival. Upon arrival at around 7.38pm, there was no reply. I rung him 10 times between 7.38pm and 7.48pm, each time it rings for a few times before going to voicemail. I eventually contacted Stayz for help and the helpline also couldn't contact Greg. They cancelled the booking and gave us a 525 voucher to book somewhere else. On a busy weekend where everything was booked out, we could not find anywhere else. We had to drive back to Melbourne after dinner.Greg sent an SMS at 9.55pm to say his phone died (I believe this was also a lie because each time we rung him, his phone rings for a few times before getting to voicemail). I replied to say Stayz and us failed to contact him, and have cancelled the booking and we had to return to Melbourne, of how disappointed we were.To rub salt into our wounds, he then sent an SMS on Sun morning to say he turned the lights on and left the front door open... for what?! Surely this listing cannot be trusted.

Comfort and convenience

I had a great weekend with my daughter and son-in-law and 7 month old grand daughter. The house is comfortable and well appointed and conveniently located. Our prime activity was to visit the Frida Kahlo exhibition.The baby loved the bird-life visiting us on the balcony.We'd definitely come back again.

Townhouse

While the town house was new and the location good – adjacent to pleasant walking path along the creek – it was missing the little touches that make a stay easy and comfortable. We had 4 nights here, hence wanted to mostly eat in. Now who carries all the bits and pieces you need at hand when preparing a meal? Things like oil, baking paper, cling wrap and so forth. We don’t think most people carry them, and it makes such a difference when they’re provided by the host. Certainly, the fittings were excellent and the place spacious, but guests need to be aware the living area and main bedroom are upstairs, and the stairs could have been better designed in terms of handrails. We looked for but couldn’t find and iron/ironing board which are generally de rigeur in short-term rentals.

Great Easter getaway

Loved this property and the family had a great 4 day getaway. Really close to the park for the dog and a great cafe for us! Our host Greg even left a bowl of Easter eggs, which was a beautiful touch. Thank you.Only downside was that our dog was so small she could fit through the gaps in the fence.
