Thanksgiving stay

This beautiful property is even better in person. The master bathroom and closet are huge, the kitchen is very large and updated with everything you could possibly need. We stayed here for Thanksgiving and ate at Monteluce Winery which is literally next door. My whole family loved this property!

Wonderful warm inviting home

Some of our family stayed here for family wedding at monteluce, and it was so convenient and comfortable. Was a great place to relax between festivities and the coffee, drinks, and snacks were a very thoughtful and much appreciated added touch. Kathy was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this home !

Way more gorgeous than pics.

I rented this for my daughter and bridal party for the day before wedding and for bride and groom after wedding. We were in awe of this place and Kathy was absolutely great to communicate with. This place is so much nicer than pics do it justice. Would highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Katy J’s! The home was immaculate and cozy and the perfect place for our family. Our children loved sleeping in the loft. The fireplace in the den was amazing and the kitchen is large and lovely and wonderfully stocked. The beds were super comfortable! The land is beautiful and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Kathy was wonderful to connect with and we are so appreciative she shared her beautiful home with us. We look forward to a return visit!

Perfect weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy J’s! Kathy was available for any questions we had, no matter the time. We loved the main room fireplace, which completed the mountain getaway we wanted! Very close to Montaluce Winery, and was the perfect location. We appreciated the welcome basket and thought it very welcoming. We had the best time exploring Dahlonega, and can’t wait to visit again and hopefully stay at Kathy J’s! Thank you again!

So Lovely!

Katy J's was just an incredible place to stay in Dahlonega. The home was so warm and inviting and the personal touches were amazing! Upon arrival, we felt at home right away. Everything was simply perfect for my husband and my get-away weekend! The location is super close to Montaluce Winery - right down the road! It was also close to the other Dahlonega wineries as well as Dahlonega's adorable downtown square. We already can't wait to come back and we know where we'll be staying!!!

Adorable property

We had a fabulous girls getaway in an adorable cottage home. The master bath was so comfortable and the bathroom was huge! The decks wrapped around most of the house some being covered with tin roofs. We enjoyed listening to the rain there. Kitchen was gorgeously remodeled and had more than we needed! Would definitely go back

Beautiful home - conversation friendly

Many conversation areas. Many extra supplies, toileries etc. It was near 100 degrees outside so we did not get much outside time on the lovely sitting areas. There are four or five very nice places. The kitchen is beautiful and has coffee supplies. It is hard to say enough to do it justice. The owner responds very quickly if you have any questions.

Best Entertaining House in Dahlonega

This is our second visit to this wonderful home where we recently hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner for 50 people. This house which is conveniently located to local wineries is the ultimate entertaining home, complete with gourmet kitchen and loads of deck space and parking. Our family and all the groomsmen were able to stay in the house with room to spare. The massive master bath and closet were ideal for getting ready for the wedding. The host is extremely helpful and accommodating. We can’t say enough good things about this house and its owner, she obviously loves to share her home with others and it shows. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

SPECTACULAR HOME

This house and accommodations are nothing short of “SPECTACULAR”. Kathy, the property owner, has done a remarkable job renovating this property. Everything has been done first class and Kathy continues this trend in everything she did to make us feel welcome, beginning with the very generous welcome gift basket upon arrival. The master suite is spacious & the master bath is extraordinary in every way. I can’t say enough about her gourmet kitchen, complete with everything you need to enjoy cooking in. The spacious wrap around decks add additional space to enjoy this outstanding property. It is ideally located so you can enjoy a number of wineries & downtown Dahlonega is approximately 10-15 minutes drive. We have rented a lot of VRBO properties over the years & I will have to say this house & Kathy are at the top of our list after our delightful experience this past weekend. We will definitely return & make sure all our family & friends know about this outstanding home.

We had a wonderful stay here! We came to Dahlonega for the first time to explore the area and this home was in the perfect location. The driveway is almost immediately past the entrance to Montaluce and the drive to get downtown was 12 min. The property was super cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Very peaceful and restful trip!
