Welcome to our delightful oasis on the beautiful shores of Lake Simcoe! Perfect for a serene couples escape, our newly renovated, self-contained suite at the water's edge offers the ideal blend of comfort and adventure perfect for sunrise gazing, swimming, fishing, people or nature watching or simply relaxing. The convenience of being close to the city (Toronto is less than an hour away) but feeling like you are a world away!

Inside the Boathouse you'll find open concept living:
• SLEEPING: Enjoy a cozy sleeping area with a plush queen-sized bed and a sitting area featuring a futon that easily converts to a full-sized bed. All with lake views! Linens, blankets provided.
• KITCHENNETTE: All the modern conveniences including dishware, utensils, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee pod machine, rice cooker, bar fridge, and a charming dining nook. Don't forget there is a BBQ outside! While spices and condiments are not provided, if you have forgotten something, please reach out and we may be able to accommodate from our kitchen!
• BATH: Relax in the oversized shower after a day of lakeside activities. Single set of towels per guest provided.
• ENTERTAINMENT: While there’s no internet, we have a small TV with a DVD player and options to log into your own Netflix or YouTube accounts (TV internet is fairly reliable but not guaranteed).

It's all about the outdoors:
• PRIME WATERFRONT: Step out to a brand-new dock, perfect for fishing, swimming, or launching a kayak (bring your own life jackets. Contact us to inquire about access to a canoe or kayak – signed waiver required).
• SUNRISE VIEWS: Wake up to breathtaking sunrises over the lake.
• OUTDOOR LIVING: Lounge on our comfy outdoor furniture, enjoy a meal at the small dining area, or grill on the BBQ. In the evenings, gather around the shared firepit for some cozy fun under the stars.

Additional Information:
• Pet-Free Zone: While pets aren’t allowed, we have a friendly but anxious dog on site. Please be sure to say hello / expect an introduction and 'conversation' with our boy so he will quickly come to think of you as family and part of the pack.
• Owner On-Site: We live in a separate building on the property and are here to help make your stay enjoyable. There is shared yard space, however we strive to respect your privacy and recognize this is your get-away!
• Parking: Convenient parking for one vehicle.
• Minimum Stay: 3-night stay on long weekends and a 2-night stay on other days.
• Nearby Attractions: A short drive will take you to local shopping, dining, and entertainment options including Sunset Speedway, Tanger Outlet Mall, Cookstown Antique Mall, Horse racing and OLG Slots at Georgian Downs, some great local eateries to suit all manner of tastes (Jamaican, Mexican, Country Fine Dining and more!). Groceries and pharmacy options are close for supplies and there are nearby marinas and hiking trail options as well.

Other things to note:
We have a friendly, but very anxious dog on site. He will not be in your space, but please say hello / expect an introduction and 'conversation' with our boy so he will quickly come to think of you as family and part of the pack. He adores people, and sadly came from "ruff" beginnings so is prone to barking until an introduction is made.

Weekdays are typically quieter. Weekends can be busier, or sometimes they surprise you and are just as quiet!

Please only use the toilet paper provided and do not flush any other products, paper or tissue. If you run out of toilet paper, reach out and we will get more!

Daily cleaning service is not available. Guests are asked to wash their kitchen items / dishes used (cleaning supplies and towels provided).

This is a 3-season property, not available winters.

Smoking is permitted on the property outdoors only.
