About this property
Gorgeous Rosie's@Boomerang (formerly Tambac) ... 3 mins from the Beach!
Amazing water view of Boomerang Beach, from in and outside of the house, rain or shine!
Perched high on the sand dunes of Boomerang Beach, Rosie's offers panoramic ocean views, bookended by headlands on both sides.
Free WiFi, beach facing deck with umbrella & chairs, outdoor BBQ, 3 BR for 6 guests, each with own shower/toilet. Bedroom linen & bath towels included.
3-min walk to Boomerang Beach & 10-15 mins to nearby beaches, all great places to surf.
Previously listed as TAMBAC @ Boomerang Beach, this property was constantly given 5-star reviews by guests. Some recent reviews are noted at the end of this property description.
Rosie's is indeed a beach house FOR ALL SEASONS! For your comfort, the house is fully air-conditioned with independent controls for the living and each of the bedrooms to handle any chilly or warm day. However, nothing beats the sea breeze flowing through the house ... sheer heaven.
After a hectic summer beach craze, the whole village is less crowded during the cooler months. Boomerang Beach is great for surfing and swimming; Bluey’s Beach ruggedness also attracts swimmers; Elizabeth Beach is calmer and best for kids, patrolled on peak weekends; secluded Shelly Beach bathe au natural. Only a short drive away are Smiths Lake with its popular sand bar and Seal Rocks, famous surf spot and fishing village from the 60’s.
Whale spotting is an annual event when whales migrate north to mate and give birth in warmer water, from around late April to July. They then return south during August to November with a playful calf in tow. The whale extravaganza could last up to 3 or 4 hours to cross Boomerang Beach till they disappear in the horizon. You can spot them from the deck at Rosie's or even from inside!
And oh, the dolphins -- they drop in virtually frequently, checking on the surfers, having a big laugh at the novice ones and playing lazily in the waves ...
Crisp linen and fresh towels are provided for all guests; just bring your own beach towels.
There is a Nespresso compatible machine for the coffee connoisseur and complimentary Nespresso-like coffee pods for the start of your stay. There is also traditional espresso coffee maker and French coffee plunger if you prefer to take with you your favourite ground coffee.
If you love cooking, you will enjoy the kitchen with its beyond-the-basics accessories such as electric wok for the humble stir fry or the lofty paella. Sandwich press for a quick snack. For the 300-gram wagyu, there is a gas barbie outside in the middle deck.
For the ultimate in beach side living, the pavilion facing the beach has almost wall to wall sliding doors on 2 sides. When you fully open both doors there is a seamless blending of indoors and outdoors -- the beach on one side and the private internal courtyard on the other and your living, dining, and kitchen in the middle of it all -- almost part of the outdoors. By the way, the courtyard is always bathed in warm sunshine, especially in winter.
For your entertainment we provide a smart TV where you can log into your Netflix, free Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth sound system.
Rosie's sleeps 6 guests comfortably. The main bedroom has a queen bed; the 2 other bedrooms each have a double & single bed. All bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There is also a portable cot if you have a baby in tow. Please bring your own linen for the cot.
We provide tea, coffee, sugar & milk, and all your bedroom linen needs including bath & tea towels, bath mats, shampoo & conditioner, shower body wash, hand wash, toilet paper, washing powder plus dishwasher tablets & dish washing liquid.
We also order plenty of sunshine for your stay but there is no money back guarantee on that because the gods can be moody at times. Anyway, if the sky is stormy and the sea is grey, the vista is still uniquely dramatic and will awe you.
In the late evening, when not rainy nor cloudy, turn off all lights including the TV and lie down on the outdoor sofa, recliners, or on the deck bench. With no town light to diminish your experience look up at the billion stars and the whirling Milky Way.
However, please note that parties are not permitted and we expect our guests to respect our neighbours.
For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have installed external security cameras located at possible entry areas to the premises. The specific locations are:
• At the front driveway - property main entry
• Side entry next to stairs - Device OFF with every booking in order to protect your privacy.
• Exterior beach facing side - Device OFF with every booking in order to protect your privacy.
We look forward to welcoming you at Rosie's at Boomerang - NOT TO BE MISSED!
Cheers

About the host
Hosted by Jessica Block

I live in Sydney, love reading, swimming, walking, theatre and music and love being a host because I can give people an unmissable experience, staying at Rosie's.
Why they chose this property
I love all the beaches, the warmth and kindness of the locals and the way I switch off Sydney the minute I walk through the door ... but most of all I love the view from the deck in all weathers, with dolphins swimming by ... breathtaking.
What makes this property unique
The light, airy, sun-filled spaces inside and the amazing view from the deck on to the beach and the sound of the waves at night ... nothing lovelier. And the sunrises are spectacular!
