Our experience with a stay at this lodge was so incredible. We stayed in cabin #8, which was small but very cozy. Our family of 5 slept all together which we don’t get to do often so was fun! The kids all had their own bed as there were still 4 beds. We had a full kitchen and bathroom as well. The cabin was very clean and well prepared for guests. There is water front swimming and docks. We had our own dock off the side of our cabin which our son was out fishing off constantly. The water was crystal clear, very refreshing and awesome to swim in! We opted to rent a boat one of the days (which was very reasonable price) and go out for an afternoon around the lake. One of the biggest highlights for our kids was the access to water sport equipment. They had a kayak, canoe, peddle boat, water bike and floating mat at the beach area. It was great for our kids to get to use all the different things and kept them busy and entertained. Our kids have already said they want to come back every year. Gail and Cliff went above and beyond — they were warm, friendly, and truly thoughtful in making sure we all had a good experience. They supplied us firewood for a bonfire and were just around if we needed anything. If you’re looking for cottage/cabin type getaway with wonderful hosts and unbeatable lake access, this is it!

Awesome Rustic Getaway

We were in Cabin 8 which was an amazing little cabin tucked away with its own private dock and we could launch our kayaks super easy! Gail and Cliff were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking again.
