About this property

Sunnysands Beach House - 4 bedrooms to relax, connect, and breathe

Situated in Kingston SE South Australia, Sunnysands Beach House offers relaxed, family-friendly accommodation for up to 8 people in a modern beach house.

There is plenty of room for everyone. There are 4 bedrooms - a queen with ensuite, a separate queen, a twin single room and a bunk room (with the bottom bunk being a double bed size).
There is also a family bathroom with a bath and shower, and a separate toilet.

Keeping you comfortable is the fully ducted heating and cooling system. Most rooms also have a fan.

The beach is only a short walk on the track at the end of the deck - and often you will be the only one on the beach. Keep an eye out for dolphins!

If you prefer to stay in, there is free Wifi, but also plenty of books, puzzels, and games to keep you occupied.

We are only a short 6 minute drive to the centre of Kingston, or bring your bikes. The bike track out the front leads all the way to town. There are also plenty of natural attractions close by, as well as great fishing spots, award-winning wineries, and plenty of great fresh seafood.

Whether you're here for business or leisure, enjoy the wide open spaces and beautiful sunrises and setsets that Kingston has to offer.

Hello.
We built Sunnysands for our family, and wanted to share it with others to enjoy when we are not there. It has everything we want when we are away from home (on the farm). As soon as we arrive in Kingston we feel we can relax, and hope that whether you stay for business or leisure, you get to take time to relax, connect, and breathe when you stay at Sunnysands.

Why they chose this property

We love Kingston as it is a quieter beach destination, and often, you can be the only ones on the beach. I feel especially lucky when I see dolphins swimming past in the morning or at sunset. The sunrises and sunsets on the beach are often incredible.
There is a bench chair at the end of the track from Sunnysands, which makes a great place to sit and watch the changing colours of the sky.
You can fish straight off the beach (or the jetty in town) or source seafood from the supermarkets. The local IGA often has local fish available. The takeaway shops and pubs are great too. If you visit during lobster season (around October to April) make sure you go to the takeaway shop at the end of the jetty. The lobsters are amazing. The pate is a particular favourite of mine!
You can drive on the beach if you have an appropriate car and skill. You can visit The Granites, The Coorong, plenty of wineries, and the shopping town of Robe (also with amazing beaches) is only 25 minutes away. There are bushwalking tracks, a camel farm, boat charters and kayaking all within half an hour.
Then, after all this, you get to come back to Sunnysands and relax!

What makes this property unique

For me, I believe our place is unique as it feels like a beach house as a home. It has everything we need and a wonderful feel about it. Many of our visitors come back year after year as they feel it too.
We hope you have a wonderful stay.
