Cozy rustic 50's home with a few updates here and there. Located on a campground beside the Famous Cowichan River in a beautiful woodland area. There are plenty of hiking trails located nearby with a short walk to River access. 7 min drive to downtown Duncan. Take in the Market on Saturdays located in the downtown area with local artisans or tour the Totems. Take a 20 min drive North to see the Chemainus Murals. Some nights, you can hear the peaceful sound of the resident Owls.

This was a fabulous find. Lots of space - comfy beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was great and having a lock box for the key meant that both my family and my in-laws could easily access the cabin. If we ever find ourselves back in Duncan for hockey we will be rebooking.

Great stay in a quiet location not far from downtown Duncan. Marcie's place was very clean and comfortable!! The waters of the Cowichan River were very inviting on a hot summer day.

We needed a quick stay late at night. It was quaint, or cozy and rustic, just as advertised. It was clean and simple, which was perfect for what we needed.We'd stay here again, for sure.

My only complaint would be that it was very warm and windows could not open (old house, painted shut) and there was only one working fan. It would be nice to have a fan in everyone and windows that can open.
