Nestled on a quiet lake between Port Carling and Bala, this classic 3-bedroom retreat has 300 feet of shoreline, a private sandy beach, clear swimming, and a deck made for lakeside entertaining. Stargaze from the hot tub, toast marshmallows by the fire, or paddle at sunrise, it’s all waiting for you!

This bright, beautifully maintained cottage is all about lakefront living and making memories. With floor-to-ceiling windows framing spectacular views and sunshine all day, you’ll feel the calm of Muskoka the moment you arrive.

Inside you'll find:
3 spacious bedrooms with comfy mattresses and fresh white linens
- Primary bedroom: King bed
- Second bedroom: Queen bed
- Third bedroom: Queen bed

2 full bathrooms — one with a bathtub, one with a walk-in shower

A cozy, open-concept living room with a fireplace and smart TV, and additional living room space in the finished basement.

A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need (plus lots of propane for the BBQ!)

Guests are welcome to use the full cottage property including all 3 levels of the cottage, laundry, outdoor waterfront, and private sandy beach, and dock. Maintenance closet and storage/utility room are not accessible.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave all kitchen and bath towels, and bath mats in the main floor bathroom.
Please lock all windows and doors, and ensure small appliances are switched off.
Please take your garbage and recycling to the Eveleigh transfer station, just a 6 minute drive from the cottage. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please use a full bucket of water to extinguish campfires and follow posted regulations and warnings for fires in the area.
No eating or drinking in the hot tub. A $400 CDN fee applies if tub has to be professionally drained and cleaned due to food, drink or excess debris
Please take your garbage and recycling to the Eveleigh transfer station, just a 6 minute drive from the cottage. (1174 Eveleigh Rd, Port Carling)

The host was very welcoming and the cottage was exceptional. It was warm and welcoming and provided everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Loved that games were provided that we all could enjoy. Everything was clean and in working order. We loved sitting and watching the snow fall thru the big windows. We are very grateful that we had the opportunity to enjoy this cottage.

Our stay at Classic Muskoka Getaway was nothing short of perfect. The property was easy to get to, clean and had everything you could imagine to enjoy the beauty of the area. The host was a pleasure to converse with and easy to get a hold of. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy some home cooked meals, enjoy a coffee with a sunrise and bask in a refreshing dip in the lake. Without a doubt, a stay that will make you never want to leave. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

The cottage is beautiful and ideally situated. Checkout was frustrating (checkout time was earlier than expected and we were required to take garbage to the dump). Communication with the property manager was prompt and respectful. There were a few cobwebs here and there.

My partner Rick and I love travelling and exploring new places around the world, but our favourite getaway is still a summer trip to the cottage. Muskoka lakes holds a special meaning to us, and we're excited to invite you to enjoy our family cottage.

Why they chose this property

Our cottage offers the perfect balance between peaceful relaxation and close proximity to all Muskoka Lakes has to offer. We’re located on a small, quiet lake with only 3 cottages on our side of the lake and 4 acres of protected forest in our backyard. But we're only a few minutes’ drive from Bala and Port Carling, and all the shops, restaurants and amenities you need for a comfortable stay. You may even spot a celebrity on your outings to town!
