Rustic barn left in original condition but decked out with vintage furniture and beds. It’s the perfect space to come enjoy the Hudson Valley in a unique glamping experience! The small barn is all enclosed on the second level, with plenty of light streaming in from the 6 windows and lots of natural openings in the old wood that let beams of light shine in. Bring cook equipment or rent ours! Your private designated bathroom in the main barn and a ‘shared’ piano lounge area compliment your stay. The space The Parliament Den is your private accommodations for sleeping. The upper level is a large enclosed space where you can enjoy a king size bed to use for your stay. A couch, table and chairs and a dresser are in your private studio space over 800sq ft. The first level is an outdoor covered eating area with bluestone floors. A vintage sink can be used to get potable water and make your morning coffee with our French press or Kuerig. There is also a hot plate available in this area. Discuss with us the use of our fire pit for outdoor cooking (wood costs) and you can be assigned an outdoor pit. Expect spiders and bugs of various flying and crawling types please ... this is as close to outdoor living as it gets.
We do not provide heat or air conditioning so please check the weather and plan your comfort for your stay! There are ceiling fans. You may want to bring warm sleeping bags to use on top of our bed. Beds will have sheets/pillows/ and a light blanket. Bring your own towels and shampoo etc for going in the creek. You have a private full bathroom in the cabin with a toilet and sink…and a clawfoot tub with a handheld shower in the cabins open living space. Guest access Your stay includes your parking space to the left of the garage next yo the fence and trash dumpster area. The Parliament Den upper and lower areas are for your private use. The lawns, trails and main barn basement (communal bathrooms and piano lounge) and outdoor pavilion are shared spaces. The basement kitchen areas are not to be used, nor is the upstairs of the main barn.
Any use of the shared spaces requires you to thoroughly pick up after yourselves, remove waste/garbage and wipe any surfaces.
Open flames or smoking is strictly prohibited within 50’ of the main barn. Other things to note Pets are additional $75 per pet up to 4 nights ($150 4 nights to one week) paid in advance of your stay. This fee contributes to supporting rescue work to unite Satos with adoptive families in NY MA CT …follow @poochesoutofpr All pets must be leashed. Please bring proper bags for waste removal:-) do not allow pets to sleep on our furniture or beds. You will be assessed an additional fee if sheets/furniture/towels get soiled or have animal hair. Plan ahead and bring your own pet supplies.
