This property was by far the best when we’ve stayed in Kingsport. It was very clean, convenient for shopping and close to anything you need or want. The mattresses were new and comfortable. The cookware and cutlery was amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked. It has a big backyard for pets and the neighborhood is in an area that has sidewalks so it makes it convenient if you are an early morning or late night walker. Very safe and nice neighborhood.

Thank you for such a wonderful review! We're so glad this was the best stay you've had in Kingsport. It's great to hear the cleanliness, comfortable new mattresses, and well-stocked kitchen all stood out, along with the convenient location near shopping. The big backyard and walkable, safe neighborhood really do make this spot special for both pets and people who enjoy a good stroll.

The host was exceptionally welcoming, graciously inviting us into her home and making us feel like family. There was ample space for four people, the rooms were comfortable, and the fireplace was a delightful addition. We would without a doubt book there again.

Jo Ann was a lovely host and the home was wonderful! We were in Kingsport for the Dalmatian National Specialty and her home was perfect! The garage was insulated and actually was the perfect spot for us to crate the dogs and a door directly to the backyard. The backyard was clean, fenced and the dogs loved it. The home was a very short 9 minute drive to Meadowview for the show. Convenient for the show, restaurants, stores, etc. If we are back in this area, will stay here in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay at Kingsport Retreat. It was awesome having so much room since it was a multi-day stay over Christmas. The owner was very gracious to make sure we had all we needed during our stay. Very well maintained and clean. Since it was over Christmas, the owner even tastefully decorated the common areas for the holiday. Very nice touch.

Mary Ellen, Thank you for such kind words on our Kingsport Retreat. My goal is to treat our guest with a clean well maintained home away from home. Christmas is the reason for the season. I wanted Kingsport Retreat to honor this special season with you and your family. The Christmas theme thru the home was an honor to share with you this season. Thank you for taking such great care of our property during your stay! Please feel welcome to return in the near future. Merry Christmas! Your host: Jo Ann

Contact with the host prior to our trip was very positive with our request. The house is very soundproof, which was nice with 3 full bedrooms of people present. Stayed for a family member graduation and the house more than accommodated the number of people present. The croquet game was enjoyed in the spacious backyard when it was not raining and cornhole was enjoyed in the garage when it was raining. Our only issue was the second morning, the toilet tank in the master suite was not filling up. Our host husband came over shortly after we called. Being a holiday weekend and no plumbers available, a Plan B was agreed and put into effect so we could have 2 toilets still available for our stay. Not the best, but it was accommodating. We would make this house a definite stay for our next trip to the area.

Thank you for being so complimentary about our Kingsport Retreat. I am so pleased that you made special memories with your family here during your stay and our large school graduation. What a special time for our seniors! I am glad to hear that the games for our guests were a big hit for your family, even during the rainy week you were here. Thank you for booking with us, and hope you will return to our Kingsport retreat in the future. Your hostess
