Nice house. Very quiet and relaxing. We were attending a wedding event so we mainly were at the house to sleep and hone during the day. But we had everything we needed and the house worked out perfectly.
The space was great for my 3 daughters and me. Location was great, close to Ore University where we were touring. Not thrilled about the teflon pans that were available. And the grill is a charcoal not propane, so plan to get your own charcoal before dinner. There is a walking path hidden just next door that traverses through back yards. Cool so check it out.

This was a great basic space for our family stay in Eugene. Kitchen was well stocked. Space for kids to play. Nice neighborhood. The house is older- has cracks in the walls, bathroom door difficult to shut between bedroom/bathroom, and some rooms are very dimly lit. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets. Communication was confusing. I had contacted the host through VRBO before our trip to ask if they had a crockpot (which they did) but never received a response. I texted the main host about the dishes being dirty but also did not get a response. I wanted them to know that we did not do that- we tried to wash any dishes we saw that were dirty but we don't know if there were others that we didn't use. When we left, I also including texting the co-host number that I found in a binder at the property. I let them know we were out and did receive a "thank you" response from the cohost. Glad someone finally responded! And that my questions/concerns were not too urgent. Where to communicate and to who needs to be more clear. The backyard could use a patio table to sit at- we didn't hangout much back there. It only had benches. But overall the stay was good and we appreciated that it was more affordable than some of the other similar options.

When I arrived at check in time the house seemed “clean” on further inspection I found debris is both tubs, and kitchen sink. The fridge was dirty with crumbs in both fridge and freezer. The kitchen was desperately lacking in cooking supplies, as well as dishes. In a house that potentially sleeps 9 there were 4 dinner plates, 4 smaller plates, and 5 glasses, 3? Coffee cups. The knives were dull, not a lot of cooking utensils. No dish towels or cloths to wash with, just a dirty worn out sponge. The home had a “greasy” smell upon arrival. There was debris left on deck, and the electrical was a little scary . lol. No access to laundry facilities, I’m assuming they were behind one of the locked doors. It was a quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed watching the tom turkeys strut their stuff in the early mornings. The stairs to both upper and lower areas were slick, as they were laminate and no carpet runner. The lighting was lacking, only over head, with one floor lamp. I can only speak for the downstairs bedroom/bathroom, as that’s the room I used. the bed was comfortable on the bottom bunk, but sheets were cheap, and an old used comforter. Pillows were lumpy. The shower handle was broken and it was hard to find the hot temp. I’m not sure what was going on with the furnace, it ran pretty much the whole time, but never got warm.( no we didn’t have it on AC lol) It was super close to the area we wanted tho.
