We had a wonderful stay and the host was very accommodating and helpful with instructions. The location was perfect for visiting our daughter at Belmont Abbey college.
Great place to stay. Comfy bid, clean house, and walking distance to belmont.

Mostly fine but...
The house is lovely and comfortable. My complaint with it is of a personal nature. We've rented many houses in the area since Belmont is near where we visit often to see our daughter. In general, the houses we've rented are ones that no one lives in, they are strictly for short term rental. This one was not such a property. The owner, who apparently is out of town frequently, does live there. Although we were told he was indeed out of town for our stay, he was not. He had obviously been in the house until the hour before our arrival. Although the house was mostly clean and tidy, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, trash in the bathroom trash cans, and food in the refrigerator. The food in the refrigerator (and pantry) was more than just the usual condiments you find in short term rentals. There is a bedroom as well as at least one closet that are locked and unavailable for use. This was not a problem but the locked bedroom had a light on that could be seen under the door. It was not on the first night we stayed but was on after that. Seemed a little weird.The property manager we worked with was very nice and apologized for what abnormalities we discovered. We have worked with Evolve before and will most likely again. The property is one we most likely will not return to.If the things I've listed are things that would not bother you, this is a great home. They were disturbing for us.

The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
- The home is occasionally used by the owner, and while his travel plans changed unexpectedly, he secured alternate accommodations to ensure the space was fully available for your stay.
- The dishwasher had recently run, and while the dishes weren’t put away in time, the home was prepared for guest use. The cleaning team has also been reminded to double-check all trash bins during turnover.
- Locked owner spaces are standard in many vacation rentals, and the number of guest-accessible bedrooms is clearly stated in the listing. The light in the locked room is on a timer for security purposes, and the owner is exploring ways to make this less noticeable.
- Non-perishable food items are occasionally left for guest use to reduce waste, as explained in the welcome materials. We understand that guest preferences vary and are taking this into consideration.

Great location, We had to change dates at last minute and the manager was very accommodating. Fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances. Home was clean and exactly as pictured.
