Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry if you were not comfortable with the temperature setting in the bedroom, The bedrooms in that unit have individual a/c units and it is possible that the temperature was set higher than your liking. The temperature settings are manual and can be adjusted by the guests. We checked it after we read your review and everything seemed to be working properly. I hope everything else was to your liking and that you had a good stay with us. Please come back to Barefoot Hills the next time you visit the beautiful and charming Dahlonega, Georgia.
We stayed one night and spent most of our time at the vineyards. I definitely want to stay again for longer though because the property is so beautiful and has a lot to offer visitors!

Thank you for the kind review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you back here soon. The property, you can imagine, is even more beautiful as the leaves start to change, and we decorate for the holidays to go along with Dahlonega's Old Fashioned Christmas! We highly recommend a Fall or Winter getaway for a magical new experience at Barefoot Hills!
Wedding anniversary weekend getaway. Location easy to find, check in process was smooth, excellent customer service, cabin comfortable and well appointed, beautiful sunset views. Near wineries, restaurants, e.t.c. We're already planning our next stay.

Thank you so much for the kind review. We are so glad you could spend your anniversary celebrating with us. We hope you will return very soone!
Beautiful Property. From the pictures we thought the unit was a stand alone, but it surprised us that the home was subdivided into multiple units and some of the pictures (firepit specifically) were common areas. Going back reading the description I see that now and missed it the first time. However, would still stay at property again as it is beautiful, the home was nice, and the staff was excellent.

This place was very nicely appointed and really clean. We rented the two bedroom suite. It is nice. Both rooms are upstairs and have their own full bath. Downstairs has a nice size living room with a full table and relaly nice kitchen with access to the back porch. What I did not know is that you have someone staying in the room right next to you that sounds like they are in the room with you when they are getting ready in the bathroom. We could hear every word they said as I am sure they could us. It was very weird and they were very loud. Not that it is their fault it is just a weird setup. The first night we arrived we found out the setup as it is not fully explained online. There are about 9 different places that you can rent on this property. Three of them are /connected to the main building. There is a commjunity firepit out back which seems nice until you are ready to go to sleep and they are not as they do not police the "quiet time" rule they have in place. Overall, we came up to this place on New Year's Eve weekend so we understood what we were getting into. It was not terrible, just not fully explained on the listing. Very nice place and really clean. We were satisfied with the property and would rent it again, but next time I would rent the entire main building so I wouldn't have those weird folks right next to me! Hahahah!

Thank you Jay. I am sorry for the noise next door. Originally, this was someone's home and over the years has been converted to a lodge. I am sorry your stay didn't turn exactly as planned but we do hope you will return. Thanks again for the review. Sharon
Fantastic and pretty. Even though you are in the woods it is very close to downtown Dahlonega which is a great little mountain town. Staff were all friendly and great to talk with. Fun was had by all.
This trip was great. The tee bedroom suite was great! Not a cabin but a lodge and very nice!! At first I thought I only had two bedrooms and the living room and kitchen was common areas. Thankfully that was not the case and the place was great and lots of room!
This property is absolutely wonderful! The space is very open, modern, and clean. You also have a gorgeous view of the mountains from your private patio. The location was also very prime with wineries 10-15 min away. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! We will be back :)
Great cabin, very friendly and helpful staff, good location near many wineries.
We all enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The check-in process was easy and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. They even built us a fire in the firepit when we returned from our winery tours. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Sheets and towels were nice quality and the bed was comfortable. The cabin is near many local wineries and not too far from Helen. We're already talking about returning again in the future to visit the other wineries we missed on this trip.

Thank you for the kind review! We enjoyed having you as guests and are glad you were able to experience the nearby wineries and an evening on our patio by the fire. We look forward to your return hopefully very soon!
We didn’t know we would be spending so much time around a campfire with total strangers from everywhere and loved every bit of it! The staff was extremely accommodating and polite and even entertained our kids a bit. Great stay at a well put together, properly outfitted getaway. The only thing to improve for a new place like this is grow the kitchen ware just a bit. Utensils and dishes were a little more sparse than we’re used to for a VRBO stay - we like to cook. Otherwise, great stay!

Thank you so much for the kind review and feedback. We are so glad you were able to have a wonderful experience with us and had the chance to meet some fellow travelers and enjoy the communal areas. We appreciate your feedback and will try to improve the kitchen utensils and dishes hopefully in time for you to return!
The location was well located for touring however the accommodations were sub-par. The cabin was old and tired, not quaint and the property was too small for the number of cabins.
