Myalla Farm Stay - Leave the World Behind
Myalla, a breathtaking property nestled in the picturesque Capertee Valley, NSW Central Tablelands. A 600 acre farm secluded from the rest of the world and cloaked in a serene ambience. With breathtaking panoramic views of distant mountain peaks, captivating escarpments and rolling paddocks. Myalla is truly a memorable destination.
The historic sandstone homestead is adorned with country charm and elegance, a harmonious blend of modern comforts with historic features with lots of country heart.
The homestead has been recently renovated with the vision of providing our guests with a luxurious and relaxing country escape. Ornate high ceilings styled with unique furnishings, a beautiful soft earthy colour pallet with sandstone features adorned with stunning paintings and sculptures by Australian artists Karen Bloomfield and Leasha Craig. Myalla easily accommodates up to 10 guests with 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas with sofa bed and a charming wrap around bullnose verandah.
The bedrooms are intimate and comfortable private spaces, the perfect setting for sleepy mornings and cosy nights. The 3 queen size beds and 2 king singles are elegantly styled and fitted with beautiful linen, including Australian woolen blankets for the colder months. Each of the rooms have French doors which open out to the verandah all framing the stunning rural landscape.
A formal dining and sitting room houses a double sized sofa bed, a large dining table perfect for dinner parties, numerous board and card games for hours of fun and a small collection of books. Or this space can provide a quiet respite where guests can talk and relax around the open sandstone fireplace.
An open plan kitchen dining and living room area with aircon, a slow combustion fireplace, TV and plenty of comfortable sitting. The modern kitchen is fitted with a induction cooker and oven, dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge. Equipped with everything you need to cook up a country style feast, including a slow cooker, coffee machine and sandwich press.
The fully fenced large yard houses a tennis court, fire pit, fountain, outdoor settings, and glorious views of the valley. In the evening have a front row seat to the spectacular sunsets with an encore of a clear star lite night. Our private nature walk through the property reveals spectacular panoramic views of the picturesque Capertee Valley, which is listed in the top 50 birdwatching sites in the world
