Araucaria Cabin: Design and Nature

Araucária: an eco-friendly cabin overlooking the mountains of the Serra da Mantiqueira. Located in a rural community 20 minutes from the centre of Itajubá, here you can enjoy selected local products and peaceful nights under starry skies in comfort and tranquility. Take advantage of our selection of books, the region's trails and waterfalls, the simple experience of rural life, and the pure water from our spring. Clean energy, connection with nature, and a harmonious atmosphere await you! The space: Our cabin is located in the Serra da Mantiqueira, surrounded by water springs, trees, animals, and the sounds of nature. Access is by car. The Araucária cabin is approximately 30m2, with a double bed and a single bed in a mezzanine, a sofa for 2 people, a stove, and a sink. Dry bathroom with hot shower. Complete bed, table and bath linens and 100% off-grid solar (photovoltaic) energy system. Therefore, we do not have a refrigerator and it is not recommended that guests bring hair dryers, for example, due to the load capacity. Cell phones: there is no signal in the region, there is wifi near the cabin if needed, but we recommend you take advantage of it to disconnect! Guest access: In addition to the cabin, the surroundings have trails through nature, streams, waterfalls and agroforestry systems. Take the opportunity to connect with the lush vegetation and animals of the Atlantic Forest in one of the world's biodiversity hotspots: the Serra da Mantiqueira. Staying in the cabin entitles you to access the entire forest area where the Travessia house is located. Including a river bath, which is 10 minutes from the cabin. Other observations: Basic cooking ingredients (sugar, salt, pepper and spices) are available in the cabin, in addition to kitchen items. There is the option to purchase selected local products in baskets, or separately, according to your preference. You will receive the product list and can place your order until Thursday. When you arrive, your products will already be in the cabin waiting to be enjoyed. Believe me, they have the potential to make your experience even more special.
