About this property
Conveniently located Yacht close to the UNESCO town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia
This well used and beautifully maintained 50 foot yacht is docked at the Lunenburg Old Foundry Marina, a working harbor with a privately owned & secure wharf. It's conveniently located near downtown Lunenburg and its amenities. There is an outside sitting area, and you are welcome to explore the entire yacht.
The yacht offers three small rooms and two bathrooms with showers, bedding and towels are provided. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and an adjacent bathroom, the second room is equipped with adult-sized bunk beds and the third room has a double bed. The second bathroom also has a shower, toilet and sink. While towels, sheets, and bedding are provided, we recommend bringing extra towels for your comfort and personal hygienic products.
You'll also find a small kitchen on board, equipped with basic necessities and cooking utensils, including a Keurig coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. Both air conditioning and heating are available, please note that the AC cools down the boat in the front section of the boat where the living/dining and kitchen are located.
To access the boat, drive all the way to the water/wharf, parking can be any where's on the property, the boat is currently located on the right, walk down the ramp and just step unto the boat.
There's a lovely walking trail right next to the property that offers a pleasant 10-minute walk to downtown.
The water on board is not palatable, it is however safe to shower, brush teeth with and do the dishes. Please bring some water on board.
Parking can be any where's on the property. There is no key to the boat, due to its high secure area with a fence that is locked at night.
For those who haven't stayed on a boat before, it's essentially a travel trailer on water. Please keep in mind that depending on weather and conditions, the boat might at times have odd & unique smells at times due to it being a boat and its environment - those who have scent sensitivity and asthma may find those smells too strong at times.
If you are prone to motion sickness, I recommend bringing some anti-nausea medication. While the boat is docked in a quiet and calm harbor, it can still rock at times depending on weather conditions.
Due to other boats and yachts docked at the wharf there is a secure gait that gets locked at night, the code to enter when the gate is locked is 9078, the code needs to be punched in the top part of the lock.
