It was not super clean and seemed to have rat droppings in the basement. The power banks in the cabins were on empty and needed to be charged, and it just seems the details were not thought out.They also charge 50-150 per bag of garbage left, so be prepared to bring it to the dump if you don’t want to pay those prices.But the dock was lovely, and the location was perfect. A lot of rooms, too.

We had a great time here, but it wasn’t without some major concerns. First off, although there is a substantial cleaning fee, one should not assume the place will be fully cleaned to much of a standard. Dust in the corners. Cobwebs in the windows. Rodent droppings in various cabinets. Cupboards with dirty laundry. We left it in better shape than we saw it, but not after a good bit of elbow grease and grumbling. The main fridge is very weak. And cools things very slowly. By day 5, we had leftovers spoiling. Luckily, there is another fridge. The yellow trampoline no longer holds air, but the kayaks are great. The view is amazing. The water is wonderful. The location is great. There are 3 bunk houses. None of them have power or water, but they do provide batteries. There is a barbecue, and it worked well for our needs. The kitchen had but one tiny serrated knife, so BYO knives I guess? We also had some pretty gnarly smells in the basement. It’s old and moist and damp down there. Overall, we had a wonderful time making memories with our large family, the location was amazing, and the stay had a lot of protential but definitely could use some improvement. Despite all these many qualms, we still managed to have a great time! The other stuff like view and lake does make up for the many missing pieces. With a bit of continued

Our group of 8 people had an interesting experience at this cottage. When booking this rental we had little communication with the host and did not receive and formal check in instructions.Once we arrived we found the cottage to be fairly dirty and some of the outside structures in disrepair. There was moisture in the basement and laundry that was not completed. The cottage was also missing basics such as toilet paper. We did enjoy the privacy and the access to the lake. Overall, this cottage just needed some basic upkeep and maintenance to make the experience more enjoyable.
