About this property
The Perch at Nornalup is a peaceful slice of paradise, perfect for families.
Welcome to The Perch – a unique slice of paradise, and quite possibly one of the most peaceful properties in Western Australia.
Set on two acres of pristine bushland, The Perch is nestled among majestic native Marri and Jarrah trees, with sweeping views over untouched State forest stretching as far as the eye can see. Wake each morning to the gentle chorus of native birds and watch them flit through the trees while you sip your morning coffee.
Just a short two-minute walk from the house, the tranquil Frankland River flows by—also visible from the balcony. Whether you're paddling upstream or simply soaking in the serenity, nature is always close at hand.
Located on Riverside Drive in the quiet hamlet of Nornalup, The Perch is perfectly positioned—just 15 minutes from Walpole and 45 minutes from Denmark. From here, you’ll have easy access to the region’s renowned Great Southern wineries, the crystal-clear waters of Peaceful Bay, and awe-inspiring natural wonders like the Valley of the Giants.
For outdoor adventurers, both the world-famous Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail pass through Nornalup, offering unforgettable hiking and mountain biking experiences. You can paddle up the Frankland River for a unique view of the Walpole-Nornalup National Park, or—weather permitting—launch a boat onto the Nornalup Inlet and even explore the Southern Ocean.
Prefer a slower pace? Curl up with a book by the fire, play a board game, or relax on the balcony and breathe in the tranquillity.
