About this property

Vintage Groove at the Garden End

Sitting on the edge of a sun splashed patio with rolling lawns to enjoy, our place is a vintage 3 bedroom villa with a renovated earthy 60s vibe. Fully renovated using natural materials including marble, exposed brick and stained timbers, this funky retreat is more than a home away from home, it’s an experience. Quiet at the end, you’ll enjoy the designer décor, the garden serenity and the convenience of train connections, local cafes and parkland nearby. Undercover parking onsite.

Our place is the last on the block ensuring privacy and security in a garden setting. Stylish with its stained floorboards, marble finishes, exposed brick wall, leather look furnishings and festoon lights, this homely haven enjoys an east facing living and dining area with two 2.5 seater couches, nest of tables, a groovy tan leather armchair, an extendable timber dining table with seating for 4 and a wall hung 55inch smart television. The sultry toned kitchen has a marble splashback with Technika electric stove, Samsung fridge, microwave and combo washer/dryer. The sun filled main bedroom has a wall of robes and queen size bed with a glass desk, a mustard yellow armchair for a pop of colour and drafting lamps to add to the 60s vibe. The 2nd bedroom has two comfy single beds and ample storage. The 3rd bedroom is ideal for under 10 year olds with its wardrobe storage and pull out leather armchair that converts to a single bed. Adding a sense of striking luxury, the marble bathroom has a large shower, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail, offset by a black painted ceiling. Three marble steps lead to the keyless entry. A strong reverse cycle air conditioner is positioned to ensure the whole unit captures the warmth or cool air. As it’s the end of the block, you have private use of the fabulous lawned courtyard and the patio has dining furniture to enjoy summer nights under the festoon lights.

Guests have access to the whole unit, the garden in front of the unit and the allocated undercover parking space. Please note that this is located at the end of a group of 12 units, containing long term renters, owner occupiers and other short term rental properties. Discretion is required while entering and exiting the property.

Our stay is 14km from Tullamarine Airport and around 15km from the Melbourne CBD on the north-west in a delightful little suburb called Albion. Albion is located in the local government authority of Brimbank. Albion is earmarked to be part of Melbourne Airport Rail project with a new train station will coexist with the Sunshine SuperHub, ensuring better connections to metro and regional train services. The best find in Albion is the Elephant café around the corner in Sydney Street. Cross the road at nearby Adelaide Street over Forrest Street and the rail to discover the tranquillity of Kororoit Creek and the meandering path through glorious parkland. Catch the sports days at Sunshine Baseball Club at the end of the street, or venture up to City West Plaza or into Sunshine Marketplace Shopping Centre for a fabulous world of food, fashion and fun to explore. Albion is also close to Victoria University’s Sunshine Campus, Sunshine Hospital, Mercy Hospital and the Western Day Hospital on Furlong Road. If attending a wedding at the Club Italia Sporting Club, Sheldon Reception, White Knight Receptions or Happy Receptions, this is the perfect place to stay. If you’re looking for adventure, there’s BattleKart Melbourne in Footscray, AceKarts on the other side of Ballarat Road and Sunshine Roller Skating Centre minutes away.

Our place in the north west pocket of Melbourne. If visiting Melbourne for the first time, you’ll soon discover that Melbourne is renowned for having 4 seasons in one day – rain, sun, wind, calm, cloudy and hail, so it’s best to pack appropriately. Melbourne is more likely to have Antarctic chills than humid days, hence the Melbourne uniform is a black puffer jacket.
