From the Gîte, you can admire the landscapes that make the originality of Velay, by joining for example the Voie Verte, a path reserved for pedestrians and bicycles, which follows the route of an old railway line. You can also, from Puy-en-Velay, discover remarkable natural sites: Polignac, the Gorges de la Loire, The Monts du Meygal, the Mézenc, the Gorges de l'Allier... There are many walks, excursions or sports activities that will allow you to take a bath in nature and calm. An asset of the cottage is its proximity to the city center and easy access to cultural activities. Many seasonal events bring the city to life, the best known being the Fêtes du Roi de L’oiseau, in September, which recalls its rich Renaissance past.
