We had a wonderful stay at the house. The view of the lake was great to see from the deck. The small details the host did made it extra special, like the dinning room table being set, a gift bag, and checking to see if we needed anything. I would rate the place a 9.5 out of 10.

Excellent property for our family of 8 including 2 teenage grandsons. Lots of on-property things to do: kayaking, fire pit almost every night, hammocks in the trees, hot tub, billiards competition, air hockey, foosball, 2 movies on big screen. The boys had their own quarters on the lower level. The closeness to the properties on either side was of no concern. House and lot is situated to allow for some privacy. The upper deck, with lots of seating, 2 large tables, a grille, and open space was well-used. The securely gated railing allowed our dogs to be on the deck with us, unleashed. The outdoor stairs from the main level were of concern when deciding on this property, but the interior stairs with a landing worked just fine. The outdoor stairs, with no-slip treads worked well too. We all got our exercise. Hiking, rafting, and waterfalls within 45 minutes too. We arrived to an immaculately clean lake house with updated appliances and plenty of kitchen equipment. Most everything about this lake house was perfect. It was a little challenging to find room for suitcases, or place to unpack in bedrooms, but closets had adequate space. Our host, Nubia, was lovely to communicate with and most accommodating. We had a great week at Lakefront Pocono Retreat!
