The Comfort Queen on Queen is a stylish 2-storey 3 bedroom 2 bathroom street front townhouse with sun splashed balcony on the edge of the Mt Alexander Road action. With all the living upstairs to lap up the northern sunshine and a balcony to watch the world at a distance, it’s a clean fresh palette of quality, comfort and effortless living so you can enjoy the Essendon vitality or the Melbourne lifestyle beyond. A secure garage and second car space is offered, with public transport metres away.
The Comfort Queen on Queen is a contemporary town residence is set behind a low maintenance garden courtyard with keyless entry. A relaxed feel with its beach prints, neutral tones and timber floating floors make it great for allergy sufferers.
The open plan living and dining area is north facing, ensuring maximum sunshine during the day, while offering a comfy 3 seater couch, armchair and huge 75inch smart television to relax at the end of the day. Enjoy the choice of the four seater dining table and 3 breakfast bar seats for quick meals or sitting around chatting. Step out onto the balcony and enjoy your morning coffee before heading out for the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with Smeg gas cooktop, underbench oven, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge with filtered water and icemaker. A small variety of tea, coffee and sugar are available. The main bedroom is upstairs with a queen size bed with its own 35inch television, built in robes, balcony access, air conditioner and sparkling ensuite. Bedroom 2 with queen size bed, its own air conditioner, fitted wardrobes, roller blinds and bedside tables with lamps. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds with its own air conditioner, fitted wardrobes, roller blinds and a central table with lamp. Fully tiled bathroom with frameless glass shower and separate bath with heat lamps. The laundry is fitted with a combo washer/dryer, iron and some cleaning supplies. There’s a storage cupboard with extra pillows, towels and vacuum. The property has an alarm, which can be used upon request. The property is double glazed to ensure the outside noise is minimised. The home comes with a high chair and portacot to cater for young families.

Essendon is less than 10 kilometres north-north-west of Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD). Essendon is a 10 minute drive from Melbourne Airport. Essendon Airport is closer, supporting emergency services, helicopter services including tourist rides and corporate flights. It’s serviced by the 59 tram and the 903 bus, both a couple of minutes from our stay’s door. The closest train station is Glenbervie, which is around 1.2 kilometres away, on the Craigieburn line. Taxi and ride share services are easily accessible.
Melbourne is renowned for its ‘four seasons in one day’ weather. The temperatures can range from 0 degrees on cold Spring mornings and get to 22 degrees by the middle of the day, or we can swelter at 45 degrees in the heat of February and early March. Pack a variety of clothes and layers to ensure you have a comfortable stay.
This townhouse is in a small group of 7 townhouses, so please be respectful to the other residents. We do have our own driveway and access, so there will be no reason for you to have contact with them. There is time limit and permit parking on the street, so to prevent any parking fines, it is best to park in the driveway and/or garage only.
House must be left as received except for bed linen and towels usage. Dishwasher turned on before you leave if there are dirty dishes in there. This is a smoke-free, drug-free, party-free property, and if discovered that any of these events have occurred at the property, penalties will apply. Cleaning fee is to ensure house is guest-ready for you when you arrive, and guest-ready for the next guests after you leave.
