NEW Cabin Time! Family Friendly Mountain View cabin with HOT TUB. STR#000637

Get your Cabin Time on! Our wonderful Cabin Time Vacation Home is available for families and friends to enjoy a lodge style vacation cabin. Just 20 miles from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, it is situated in the Whispering Pines area of Plain & walking distance to the shores of Lake Wenatchee. A stroll out the front door offers strolling choices of either turning right out of the drive way to head up the hill for breathtaking views of Lake Wenatchee and Nason Ridge or turning left to cross over to North Shore and peek a boo views of the lake and pass by lakeside cabins.

The property itself is situated in a peaceful setting of cedars, vine maples, and wide open spaces with plenty of level parking and easy access no matter what the season. The cabin offers a 2 level wall of windows making for absolutely spectacular sunset and twilight viewing of Dirtyface Mountain. See for yourself, whether you are relaxing in the upstairs cozy TV loft area or socializing in the downstairs great room, the evening view is serene.

Outdoor activities abound being 15-20 miles between the beautiful Bavarian town of Leavenworth and 15-20 miles to Stevens Pass Ski Resort and Vail Mountain Bike Park. The cute town of Plain is just10 miles away offering up Plain Cellars Winery, summer concerts and perhaps you can find a local brew or two. There's also the infamous Plain Hardware for our area's best espresso, pastries, Saturday Farmer's Market and more. 3-5+ miles from the cabin puts you at your choice of fishing at Fish Lake (boat rentals available); splashing beachside at Lake Wenatchee State Park; or golfing and fine dining at Kahler Glen Golf Course. Hiking and Biking opportunities abound. Our favorite personal hike would definitely be the Dirty Face Mountain Trailhead offering up 180 degree + cascade mountain views and waterfall. The trailhead is less than a mile away. Either way, your family will love creating your own treasured memories.

We chose this property house because of the good reviews but found it fell short of our expectations. Overall I would say we enjoyed ourselves but were inconvenienced by a few things. The host communicated well and let us check in a hour early which was great. On arrival we found the house to be charming and spacious. The heat took a very long time and the first night was cold. We tried to get the indoor gas fireplace lit but couldn't - the host offered to help but it was at an inconvenient time for us. We tried to grill but it was extremely dirty. We went to make coffee and found moldy coffee grounds. We tried to hand was dishes but found no dish soap. The hand soap was either empty or so watered down it was unusable. For the price the property is listed for, it fell short for me and my group. We were there for a short amount of time, which made our stay manageable. If it was any longer, we would have been a bit more upset.

We had a fun time in the cabin, there was plenty of room for the adults and kids, the firepit is well maintained in the yard and the hot tub was an added bonus after a long day of hiking!

Cabin fever amazing place

Our family had a lovely time , great location as we fished close by at fish lake . Modern cabin feel with relaxing hot tub experience after a great day of fishing 🎣 . Ran a bit short on toilet paper and dish soap but didn't bother owner as the had a family emergency . So we just bought some at the local store no big deal ✅. Lovely front porch and lounge chairs to take afternoon naps in the sun 🌞. Would highly recommend this place for your next family get away ..

Pleasant cabin for a winter stay

A few things we really liked: * Spacious family/common area downstairs + an upstairs area for the kids to play. The common area/interior is a larger than the photos suggest. * Close to Stevens Pass for skiing. * Good kitchen setup for cooking. * Far enough out from Leavenworth to relax, yet close enough to go into town.

Fun stay, not as private as expected

We had a blast staying here, plenty of space for 6 adults! And a cozy place to watch tv at the end of the day. I agree with all other reviews, this is a great cabin but I will add that it did not feel very private. When you look outside the kitchen window (which has no blinds) you can see the sturdy fence, and the entirity of the owners home behind it. The fence doesnt cover much, but is quite sturdy. The other note is there are no trails within walking distance. There is no public beach access except at wenatchee beach park, a 10 minute drive.

DO NOT recommend at winter time!

For anyone seeking a nostalgic experience reminiscent of teenage years under watchful eyes, this accommodation may fit the bill. Upon our check-in, the supervisor provided a warm welcome; however, the following morning brought an unexpectedly intrusive visit to ensure we hadn’t increased our party size. Privacy is virtually nonexistent, as the rental property directly faces the owner's residence. In fact, you could easily catch a glimpse of their television from the kitchen while doing the dishes. The hot tub area leaves much to be desired, featuring a small fence bordering the forest, seemingly intended to keep away inquisitive squirrels and deer. Yet, just 30 feet away, owners are also treated to an unfiltered view of the naked guests. To top it off, a large, unattended dog frequently sauntered toward our porch, leaving smelly reminders of its presence behind. These various annoyances ultimately detracted from our overall experience.

Wonderful Fall Retreat

We had such a lovely time at this cabin. We stayed in October just as all the beautiful leaves were changing color. This is truly a beautiful area. This cabin is perfectly set up and was just the right size for our family (2 adults and 2 kids) There was plenty of space to store all our belongings, and the bedrooms were a good size. The bathrooms were clean and were stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. The kitchen was very open and had every baking and cooking utensils and pan you could need. I really enjoyed cooking for our family on the days we decided to stay in. The kids loved the loft area with plenty of puzzles, board games, and movies. We all especially loved the outdoor hottub that was the perfect temperature and very clean. We also had the pleasure to meet the wonderful owners. On our last morning some delivery men showed up early at the door with the wrong address. The owner, Christy, stopped by with coffee and to apologise. We thought that was very kind and thoughtful. Overall, it was a very nice retreat away from our normal hectic lives. I would definitely recommend this place.

The checkin process was awful. I did not receive some of the emails so we did not get the address or key code till after 500. Then it was 53 in the house and the heater really did it work well. It would of been nice to have sone vottle water in the frog. There was no outside garbage cans so i had to leave the garbage in the kitchen sink. The comunication was really bad from host to frbo.. the beds were very hard and very little blankets for as cold as the house was. I was glad i had brought blanket of our own .

Excellent place to relax!

Our family was instantly at home in this cabin as it was very clean, well laid out, and overall pretty much matched the online description well. The hot tub was wonderful and we made it a point to take a dip at least once a day. The kitchen has the basics that you need to cook pretty much anything. There's a little loft room at the top of the stairs with a nice big tv that turned out to be a favorite hang-out spot for our family. The master bedroom is upstairs and has windows on three sides. For about 1/2 our stay there was a steady breeze that flowed through that room and made it the most amazing place to relax. The other two bedrooms are downstairs and are fine. One of them has a bed that's too firm for our tastes, but the other two beds plus the bunk in the master are comfy. There are fun games plus a nice portable bluetooth speaker. The location is quiet other than the occasional semi driving by. It's not quite as private as it looks at first. There are homes on two sides and while there is a decent amount of tree's between them, you can definitely see through to the other properties. It's totally fine, but just don't expect totel seclusion. There's a walkable neighborhood if you take a right out of the driveway. Lake Wenatchee is AMAZING and just 12 minutes away to get to the swimming area, while Leavenworth is just a half hour away. Overall this was one of the best cabins we've stayed at and would definitely come here again!

Family time, traditions, and 4 seasons of hiking, biking, paddleboarding, skiing, fun is what puts a smile on my face.

Why they chose this property

As the original owner, Cabin Time was built in the heart of this huge outdoor recreational area, situated halfway between Leavenworth and Steven's Pass Ski Resort. Minutes from Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake. The 2 hr. commute from Seattle to the cabin makes it especially easy to get away and enjoy some sun and hotter dryer weather during Seattle's spring and early summer. As much as we enjoy the property in the summer, one of our favorite winter memories was of fantastic skiing with the kiddos and friends; Leavenworth site seeing and wine tasting; and innertubing Ski Hill. Especially during cabin downtime, smile thinking about not being able to pull the kiddos away from their snow forts, cozy football games on the TV, board games and books, walks and the hot tub. Throw in a snow ball fight and good game of cards... Overall, it is a getaway that is easy to enjoy. Even for grandparents and families with a loaded down minivan. Unload in minutes with an all level lot with plenty of parking and start that vacation!

What makes this property unique

The wide and 'L' shaped driveway makes for ample level parking for multiple vehicles, boats and boat/snowmobile trailers.

Our favorite spring ritual is hiking up the Dirty Face Mountain trailhead just behind the Ranger Station (1-2 mins. away). Wild flowers, waterfall, and incredible view! Of course the Hidden Lake hike is a must do as well. Grandma and Grandpa gave it their two thumbs up. So much to do all within 1 minute to 25 minutes away that you can't do it all. You can't. But you'll definitely have fun trying.
