Driftwood Studio – A Peaceful Coastal Escape in Mount Martha

Welcome to Driftwood Studio, a private, tranquil coastal retreat just 500m to Mount Martha’s beautiful beaches and a short walk to beautiful South Beach and the vibrant Village.

Perfect for a weekend escape, a quiet getaway, or a base to see family or explore the Mornington Peninsula. Whether it’s a romantic getaway, birthday, anniversary or a solo escape, the space is tranquil, fresh and clean, and only a short two-minute drive to local cafés, restaurants, specialty stores and the supermarket. It’s also within easy reach of the Mornington Peninsula’s iconic wineries and dining experiences including Polperro, Montalto, Crittenden’s, Pt Leo Estate, Barragunda, Jackalope and more.

The Space

Driftwood Studio is a stand-alone (32sqm), self-contained pool house with coastal décor and interior design that seamlessly blends indoors and outdoors. The studio features:

• Queen size bed and high-quality pillows for a luxurious and comfortable sleep
• Ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower, vanity basin and toilet
• Large sofa lounge overlooking pool and garden areas
• Heating and cooling for year-round comfort
• Fridge, kettle and coffee pod machine
• Tea/coffee, mugs, glasses, water and wine decanters included
• Outdoor deck and garden overlooking the pool, perfect for morning coffee, reading or enjoying a drink
• Access to a heated saltwater pool with two sun lounges and umbrella
• Shampoo, conditioner, soap wash and moisturizer supplied
• Large 65" Smart HD TV and Wi-Fi internet
• Fresh linen and bath towels provided (you will need to bring your own beach towel)
• Double glazed windows and bi-fold door that fully opens onto deck, garden and pool

The space is bright, airy and tastefully decorated, with a complimentary bottle of Crittenden Sparkling Cuvee chilled and Lindt chocolate balls waiting for you on arrival.

• Private side entry alongside main house and key-safe for easy self-check-in
• Private parking for one car only
• Secure, gated property with 24-hour access
• The heated saltwater pool is available for use Dec-March
• The studio is part of a private residential dwelling. Privacy is ensured.
 
Guest Access

The studio is located at the rear of the host’s house who live on the property. Guests will enter via a gate and walk down the side of the house to access the studio, garden and pool deck areas. Block out blinds are on the house to ensure guest privacy. A key and gate remote is provided in a lock box for anytime access. Further details are sent on booking.

House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, please note when booking:
• No smoking inside the studio.
• No pets unless pre-approved.
• No parties or loud gatherings – this is a peaceful residential area.
• Please respect neighbours at all times, especially after 10pm.
• Only registered guests are permitted on the property.
• Please leave the space in a tidy condition with rubbish and recyclables put in the bins provided.
