Rare lakefront house with private dock. Three bedrooms 2 full bathrooms. House is laid out nicely with an open kitchen family room that leads right out to the deck where you can sit and enjoy the unobstructed lake view.

There are lots of activities in town or just relax at the house and soak up the sun.

Please no camping or rv’s on the property. The driveway can accommodate several cars.

Sorry there is no smoking in the house or on the property and no pets allowed.
Note there is a ring camera at the front door only for security. It only shows the driveway. Please contact host if you have any questions.

Beautiful lakefront home

Our family had a wonderful time here for the week! The house was in a fantastic location a few minutes from town with great lake access. The house was very clean and nice, and we appreciated lots of parking space off the road.

Relaxing holiday

House was lovely with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything was perfect and the welcome package was over the top. All in all a lovely family vacation. Place was clean and very well equipped.

Great family vacation!

This place was amazing. The lake was great for swimming in, and we enjoyed using the provided kayaks and floaties. Our host made herself available to us and there was a lovely welcome awaiting us when we arrived. There was a steep walk down to water, but getting that exercise made me feel better about all the treats I was enjoying on vacation! This place is great!

Perfect place right on the lake

Great place for the family over the long weekend. Clean, lots of room, right on the lake. Kathy left us a very thoughtful welcome gift that we will have as a keepsake to remember the weekend. We would definitely come back to this same spot. Walking distance to Laketown Ranch. Easy 5 minute drive to the amenities of the town.

Phenomenal

We could not have asked for a more perfect vacation. We stayed for a total of 16 days and had some great weather and a bit of rain, but the stay was still incredible even with the less-than-ideal weather occasionally. The accommodation is very well set up, we had everything we needed. The views were wonderful, and the property and amenities were well maintained and there was lots to do. We can't recommend this property enough.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this amazing waterfront property. The pictures don’t do the location justice, it really was incredible! As a parent of 3 younger children it was everything we could have hoped for in a summer cottage. Our interactions with the host were the best we have experienced in a long long time! Thanks for making our trip so memorable. We would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone and can’t wait to come back.

Tidy, beautiful house & private lakefront. Got everything we wanted & needed. Prime location, away from the crowd, great privacy, but still very close to the town. The most important thing is, Kathy is the best host ever! Not just prepared the place for us perfectly, gave us very warm welcome, also help planning our trip in advance, & making sure we'll 110% enjoy our vacation! Highly recommended, both the house & the host. We must come back again. Must also recommend this to all of our friends!

Fabulous lakefront vacation!

My family and I (4 adults & 3 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Kathy’s lovely lakefront home! The home was very well stocked with everything one would need for a comfortable, enjoyable time. The welcome basket was “over the top” and very thoughtfully put together! The communication with Kathy was excellent. We were always pleased with the quick and helpful response from Kathy whenever we contacted her. We all agreed we would love to return again next summer!! Thanks again Kathy!

Beautiful spot on the lake

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse! The house was clean and well-equipped. Nice division of sleeping and living spaces. Added bonuses included welcome basket and host gift and floaties and kayaks for use. Communication with the host was great! We spent most our time on the dock and in the water. Beach area was nice to have and would be great for families with little kids. Town is a short drive away. House is private and does not feel overlooked. We liked that the house was surrounded by lovely trees. We will definitely stay again.

Kathy is an AMAZING host!! She asked us questions about our plans and wishes prior to arrival and had everything requested (plus a little surprise for us). Communication was proactive and thoughtful. We had questions after our arrival and our host was quick to respond and offer solutions, advise, and over-the-top restitution (for something beyond their control I might add). I will be returning to this beautiful rental every time I come back to Vancouver Island from now on.If you are looking for an immaculately clean lake house with private beach access to a pristine lake and want to spend all your time enjoying natural beauty, look no further. If you are stuck watching TV and your phone all day, go somewhere else. This place is meant to connect you with your friends and family in a place that only nature can produce. The only thing I would advise is to make sure you stop for ice on your way in, as there is no ice machine or trays on site. Not a big deal since the town is a short 5 min drive away, but if you are like me, you want a nice cold drink when you arrive at your vacation destination, and ice is a necessity. The WiFi is great, but there is no digital entertainment provided, so bring your own streaming services if you require them. Other than that, this place would make anyone happy staying here. Can't wait to come back!!
