As you climb the stairs, you’ll feel an instant shift of energy- light, uplifting and just a little magical.
Designed by local architect, Nicole Blair, The Perch has received multiple national and international design awards and has been featured in Dwell online and other top design magazines. It’s not just a place to stay-it’s a piece of Austins creative spirit.

Our treehouse is a quiet retreat from the hubbub of downtown, yet just blocks away from coffee shops, restaurants, bars, music venues and Lady Bird Lake’s hike and bike trail.

The space is filled with natural light and framed by treetop views from every window. Local art is displayed throughout, adding personality and a taste of Austin’s creative energy.
Start your morning with tea on the oversized couch, gazing out at the magnolia tree out front. In the evening, dim the lights, queue up your favorite playlist, and wander from room to room, soaking in the glow of the treetops against the city backdrop.

Guests also have access to the downstairs courtyard, which is shared with our home business. While it’s shared, the space remains private and peaceful, offering another spot to relax outdoors.

While we live and work on the property, our guests privacy is our biggest priority.
However; if you need anything, we’re happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, or help with anything you may need. We’re available by phone or text and love sharing our favorite spots in Austin if you’d like insider tips!

We are located in the heart of East Austin. Walking distance to downtown, bars, coffee shops and restaurants as well as blocks from Ladybird Lake walking trail.

There is street parking out front. There are many businesses within walking distance. Downtown is 8 blocks away. Many folks like to use scooters and e-bikes. The metro rail is 4 blocks away. The bus stop is 1 block away. Whole Foods market and Target are also nearby within a 15 min walk.
