Nestled in the tropical World Heritage rainforest of Topaz, in the Atherton Tablelands, Riflebird Lodge offers our guests incredible and exclusive access to some of the region's most iconic animals and plants right on our doorstep. Built in 1987 by famous bird artist William T Cooper & Wendy Cooper, it offers a rich history of scientific research and inspiration for William's world-renowned paintings. Frequently visited by notable figures such as Sir David Attenborough, the 160 acres of protected Nature Refuge forest, 2 permanent creeks and extensive network of walking trails allows guests a fully immersive wildlife focused experience. Frequent sightings of multiple iconic animals such as the southern cassowary, victoria's riflebird, cat bird, musky rat kangaroos, spectacled monarch and multiple other bird, snake and possum species make a stay at Riflebird Lodge a true wildlife experience.

Take trash away with you or leave it all in the green bin next to the garage
Lock all doors and return the keys to the relevant key lockers
