This is a special place, and your care helps keep it that way for the community and future guests.

What makes this property unique
Sea Chalet is a truly off-grid, oceanfront oasis, accessible by boat or water taxi only, offering a rare level of privacy and immersion in nature. Set on six private acres with its own dock, this handcrafted cabin sits above a quiet, protected bay, surrounded by forest, wildlife, and uninterrupted coastal views.
Unlike typical vacation rentals, Sea Chalet is designed for guests who want to disconnect from noise and reconnect with the ocean—without sacrificing comfort. Mornings begin with the sounds of seals splashing and frolicking, resident loons calling, and migratory ducks fishing for herring in the bay, followed by coffee on the deck as the tide gently shifts and the day unfolds.
What truly sets Sea Chalet apart is the experience:
Private dock and direct ocean access for paddleboarding, crabbing, fishing, swimming, or arriving by boat
Located beside Okisollo Channel, where powerful tidal currents move past the bay and create dynamic tidal rapids and a jaw-dropping standing wave just across the channel
Guided boat trips with SS Funship and water taxi service available, offering access to wildlife viewing, tidal rapids tours, fishing grounds, remote hiking trails, and surrounding islands
A separate bunkie providing comfortable additional sleeping space for extra guests, ideal for families or small groups wanting both togetherness and privacy
A peaceful, intimate setting with no roads, traffic, or crowds
Thoughtfully designed for couples, families, solo travellers, and adventure-minded guests seeking quiet, simplicity, and connection to the coast
This is not a resort or a busy marina stay—it’s a coastal sanctuary within a living marine environment, where still waters meet the raw energy of the tides. Ideal for hikers, nature lovers, creatives, and anyone seeking a slow, meaningful escape on the wild tidal waters of Okisollo Channel.
