Designed in a contemporary New York loft style and enhanced with curated artistic details, this expansive apartment combines modern comfort with industrial elegance.

The open-plan living, dining, and fully equipped kitchen areas are framed by wraparound windows that capture sweeping views of Raglan Harbour, creating an impressive sense of space and light. The main level opens to a balcony overlooking the water toward Te Akau, while the lower deck provides a sunny, sheltered area complete with a BBQ — ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation.

The Grand Silo accommodates up to five guests in well-appointed spaces. The master bedroom with a king bed, tand he mezzanine level with a queen bed.

Additional features include two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a pool table for guest enjoyment. Whether you’re seeking a romantic retreat, a weekend getaway, or a base to explore Raglan, The Grand Silo delivers comfort, style, and a touch of architectural history.

The Grand Silo enjoys a prime position on the Raglan Wharf, directly opposite the well-known Tony Sly Pottery and the popular Wharf Fish and Chips. The vibrant town centre is just a short 12-minute stroll or a quick two-minute drive away, offering easy access to Raglan’s cafes, boutiques, and coastal charm.

Perfectly located at the Wharf Waterfront where you can peruse the boutique retail stores, enjoy a beverage at The Wharf Cafe, pick up your evening fish & chips or jump aboard the Wahine Moe sunset cruise in summer.

Surfers will love the big waves at world-famous Manu Bay. Nearby Cox Bay and Lorenzen Bay are great spots for swimming, kayaking and body boarding or just relaxing in the sunshine. You may even get lucky and spot one of the orcas that regularly come to visit the bays.

Also on offer in Raglan is fantastic bushwalking, golf, mini putt and, of course, plenty of fishing.

The vibrant café and arts scene in Raglan township is just a short drive away. There’s a wealth of delicious dining options to choose from, along with specialist arts and crafts shops to explore. Also within easy reach are the supermarket and shopping facilities.

Do as much or as little as you want – the choice is yours. Raglan is a fantastic holiday destination any time of year.

Please note that the queen bedroom on the second level is an open mezzanine floor which sits above the main living floor.

No children under 12 years old as the elevated mezzanine floor is a safety hazard for young children. There are also interior ladders which could become a climbing risk for young children.

We are unable to host pets at this property.

Free Wi-Fi is included, and the Smart TV is internet based apps only which you require your own log in details for - Netflix, Neon, You Tube, On Demand etc.

No more than the number of guests booked, to a maximum of five. Additional charges will apply if you exceed the number booked.

We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct.

Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure.

Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.

For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.

All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.

A Weber BBQ is available for use during your stay. Please clean with the appropriate supplied cleaner after use. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the BBQ is found dirty.

Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder).

Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of $25 per box will be applied for disposal.

Electric Vehicle Charging - We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location in Raglan town centre next to the town hall on Bow Street.

For any personal belonging/s that are left at the property, there is a $20 (regardless of size) minimum return fee + courier bag/packaging.

All children need to be well supervised by their accompanying adult as there is an exposed and elevated mezzanine floor and outdoor patio, structural ladders and other elements to the property that may be falling hazards. The safety of the child is the full responsibility of their accompanying adult.

Our cancellation policy offers a full refund up to 5 days before arrival. After that you receive 50% of the booking plus cleaning fee, less the first night.
