The space

Botanic Gardens Castle Retreat is designed for romance, relaxation, and memorable gatherings. The castle is full of character — textured stonework, warm finishes, and little “wow” moments everywhere you turn. The heart of the home is the courtyard, where the fountain runs and the greenery climbs, creating a private pocket of calm at the centre of it all.

When the temperature drops, light the fire, pour a drink, and let the mountain do its thing. When the sun’s out, open everything up and enjoy the rainforest air — it’s one of those places that makes you slow down without trying.

Sleeping setup (4 distinct spaces)

The sleeping areas are arranged across four separate rooms, each with its own personality:

Queen’s Turret Suite – elevated and wonderfully private, featuring a white four-poster bed

The King’s Chamber – classic castle textures and a four-poster bed with a warm, grounded feel

Rainforest Retreat (garden cabin) – a private cabin just off the courtyard with air-conditioning, TV, and a small breakfast setup (kettle, toaster, fridge) for easy mornings

The Squire’s Chamber – a cosy extra sleeping space with a bunk arrangement (double bottom + single top) for flexible accommodation (great for kids or extra guests)

Kitchen, dining & living

You’ve got a welcoming kitchen and dining space made for shared meals, plus a large lounge area to unwind after a day exploring the mountain. Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace are available if you need to sneak in a little life admin — but honestly, this place is built for switching off.

Location

You’re tucked into the rainforest beside the Botanic Gardens, yet still close to the best of Tamborine Mountain. Pop down to Gallery Walk for coffee, wineries, restaurants and boutique browsing, then come back to the peace and privacy of the castle.
