The Peaks Luxury Chalets are brand-new, modern retreats nestled in the highlands of Cape Breton. Located in Ingonish along the iconic Cabot Trail, our chalets offer premium amenities and a hot tub for the ultimate getaway.
Steps from Cape Smokey Ski Hill and minutes from ocean views, hiking, wildlife, and Cape Breton Highlands National Park, this is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and adventure.

Please note that there are two chalets on the property and they share a driveway. We are currently renovating the South Peak Chalet, and the work should be completed within the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your understanding 😊 The chalet comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious king bedroom with a patio, along with a convenient half bathroom. The lower level offers a cozy bedroom with a queen bed, a pull-out sofa, and a full bathroom—ideal for families or small groups.

Step outside onto the back deck and unwind in the brand-new hot tub, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the highlands.

Located in Ingonish, directly along the world-famous Cabot Trail, you’re immersed in some of Nova Scotia’s most spectacular scenery. The trail winds through the dramatic coastal mountains of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, offering stunning ocean views, scenic hiking trails, and abundant wildlife.

In the winter months, enjoy being at the base of Cape Smokey Ski Hill. During warmer seasons, explore nearby beaches, coastal lookoffs, and unforgettable outdoor adventures.

You have the whole house to yourself. We are also a wheelchair accessible.

CHECK IN:
Check in is at 4pm. Please let us know what time you will be arriving so we can make sure the house is ready.

CHECK OUT:
Check out is at 10am. Please let us know if you will be leaving earlier.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
We trust that you will treat our cottage with the same respect and care as if it were your own home. Please follow the rules, including no smoking and no parties including people who are not registered guests . Any damage to the property will be the responsibility of the guest.

House Rules:
• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Chalet.
• No Parties or Events: To maintain a peaceful environment, parties and events are not permitted without prior approval. Please reach out to us if you’re planning anything beyond your stay.
• Quiet Hours: To respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful atmosphere, please keep noise to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM.
• Shoes Off Indoors: To help us keep the space clean and comfortable for all guests, we ask that you remove your shoes upon entering.
• No Unregistered Guests: Only guests included in your reservation are permitted to stay overnight. Please do not invite others without approval.
• Cleanliness: Please help us keep the space tidy. Cleaning supplies are provided for your convenience.
• Do Not Move Furniture: Please refrain from moving furniture or decorative items. We’ve arranged the space with care and would appreciate it remaining as is.

Heating and Cooling:
The remote for the heat pump is on the shelf in the kitchen. Point the remote at the heat pump to turn on and off. Please ensure all windows and doors are closed if you are using the heat pump. It is set for 20 degrees which is usually a good temperature, but you can adjust if needed. Please turn off when not needed. If you have any questions, please reach out.

TV:
You’ll find a TV remote on the coffee table. We have a smart TV equipped with streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Feel free to log in to your personal accounts and enjoy your favourite shows. Don’t forget to log out before you leave!

Laundry:
Feel free to use the washer and dryer during your stay - detergent and dryer sheets are on us! Please leave the washer door open after washing.

Recycling and Garbage:
We've got three colorful bags: blue for recyclables, small green compostable for organics, and clear for garbage.
Recyclables like paper, cardboard, metals, Styrofoam, and plastics go in the blue bags. Organics like food scraps and yard waste go in the compostable bags. And everything else goes in the clear bags.
When your bags are full, please put them in the garbage bins outside .Green bin for organics and the grey bin for recycling and garbage.
Cans and bottles can be left in the blue container under the kitchen sink
For more details on sorting, check the cheat-sheet in the drawer next to the fridge. Sorting is crucial in Nova Scotia thus a $50 fee may be incurred if the sorting rules are not followed.

Additional Notes:
• Drinking Water - The tap water is safe to drink
• Kitchen Sink - Only dish water, no grease or food waste.
• Toilet - only flush toilet paper please.
• Kindly observe the check-in and check-out times.
• Please refrain from sharing the access code with unregistered guests.
• Do not leave any garbage/food waste outside as this will attract wildlife.
• Ensure all remotes are left in their original locations.
• Leave all linens on the beds.
