The photos were accurate, the atmosphere was as expected, a beach cottage. While we enjoyed our stay very much, we did experience frustration upon arrival with several large dog BM’s in the yard at the front door (smelly and not a great impression), I am a dog owner and appreciate the dog friendly listing, would NEVER leave a rental in this condition but the cleaners did not clean up the yard either. Also a bag of garbage sitting on the kitchen table was gross. We also found the basic supplies (paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods) not stocked for our stay-we ran out. The main bathroom sink and shower drains did not drain well, need a plumbers attention. I did need some assistance with the entry app, and the hosts responded promptly to my request for help, however I had to figure it out myself….a toggle setting in the app was not flipped. They should have suggested I check those. Perhaps disclose on the listing that there is potential for live bands on summer weekend nights from the main strip can be quite loud well into the night. The fire pit is non existent, should not be advertised. Overall, our stay was fun, but a little more attention to details would have prompted a higher star rating.
