About the host
Hosted by Mark Hodgson
Our first hosting experience was our family cottage on Lake Osoyoos in 2012. We decided to divide our time between enjoying the property for ourselves and renting it to other families. The feedback we received and booking demand exceeded all our expectations. As such, we decided to expand and added 2 more properties to mix - another cottage on Lake Osoyoos and a vineyard property in Oliver, BC. Now that I’m an empty nester, I have added our family home in Burnaby to portfolio for summer rentals only. I trust guests staying at the home in Burnaby will have the same awesome experience and vacation memories that our South Okanagan guests raved about
Why they chose this property
We love our home in Burnaby as is is located at the end of a quite street and surrounding by forest and views of Indian Arm and the North Shore mountains. It feels like you are in the country yet only minutes away from excellent restaurants and other amenities.
What makes this property unique
It has a retreat vibe - large decks and patios surrounded by nature, hot tub and fire pit and right beside the Trans Canada trail with endless trails to hike and ride
