Cozy and Private One-Bedroom Basement Suite

This guest came in when it was raining, the grass was a bit slippery because of the weather. She got into the apartment and complained about not having frying pan, there was a small frying pan there, she doesn’t like the one there because it is not brand new. I went up quickly to give a brand new frying pan. Next she complained about two towels not very dry. I explained to her that was a mistake as a guest left few hours before she arrived. So the cleaner who came must have not checked the towel properly after completing a cycle from the dryer. I showed her brand new 3 towels on the rack never used at all that she could use instead. I sorted all her complaints. Later in the day, around 7 pm, Vrbo called me about her complaints. They connected me with her on phone and told me she wanted to leave because of the excuses that I fixed for her already. If it was rainy, of course walkway will need carefulness to walk through. In a nut shell, she told me she will spend a night for free and leave at her own time the next morning. She left 9:15am the next morning. The guest refused to pay and stayed in my place for a full day used my utilities for free, left the place unclean. I don’t know why this guest has to leave me a bad review after meeting all her request, and still cancelling her reservation for a full refund and still stayed in my accommodation for free for a day despite not liking it. Everyone who have been coming to my accommodation has been giving me an excellent reviews when I asked for feedback both on Vrbo and other platforms. I’ve never received any of such complaints from anyone so far. I would say, anyone letting this guest into their accommodation needs to be very careful as I don’t trust their intention.
