Beautiful getaway

This is a lovely cabin that has so much room! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy everything this cabin has to offer! Decorated with a hunter/antique lovers dream!!

Great Place

This is a great place to stay. The cabin was beautiful and had a lot of beds for a large group. The kitchen and dining room were great for cooking. They also had a fire pit for making mountain pies. It’s off just enough from the road. It was a peaceful place go stay. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Stay in a Mountain Lodge

Firepit, large lawn area and amble indoor space make it perfect for a family or friend gathering at this hunting lodge environment. The host is very clear on what guests need to bring. We enjoyed a great football weekend getaway, using the grill, firepit and outdoor patio area.

Rustic lodge is exactly that..rustic and a lodge. Remodeling upgrades are very nice. No AC on 90 degree days made sleeping at the lodge uncomfortable. Host provided a few fans. We brought more. Steps to sleeping area are narrow and very steep. Yard and fire ring area are inviting, unfortunately, the weather do not allow us to enjoy much outside.

Penn State Game

We had a group of guys stay for penn state football game. Cabin was as advertised and plenty of room for us to sleep and hangout and watch the night games when we got back, great location and easy 30 min drive to the stadium.

Lucas family reunion

My 2 cousins arrived from Knoxville on Thursday night and we found everything perfect! Tomyhawke is very clean and easy to get just about anywhere. I once had a camp that was rented in the summer and I know how hard it is to keep a camp in perfect condition! You have done a Wonderful job with renovations and the outside is perfect as well!!! Our two dogs loved your place as well!!! Thank you!!!

Not as happy as usual

Advertised price was changed after booking request. We begrudgingly accepted. Lodge is not fit for elderly, anyone with difficulty on steps. No blankets, no top sheet, no pillows, no towels, no shampoo, no conditioner. Bathroom is fair/passable

Perfect for PSU getaway

Troy was very accommodating and was very responsive and helpful. Place is big and clean. Cooking utensils/ pots pans were available lsrge triple sink and kitchen. Tons of room for sleeping large groups. Beautiful yard/ bonfire pit. Owner is working on updating the bathroom soon too. Happy with stay.

PA stay

The property was great!! We enjoyed staying here. I loved using the big griddle in the kitchen for breakfast each morning. Very spacious and inviting. Two suggestions- we were there for a wedding and the only mirror was in the bathroom. Difficult when multiple people are getting ready! Also curtains on the windows. A few of the neighbors lights shine in at night. Loved the Vrbo!!

The location was excellent and serene. Great place for a fire and relaxing night. Our group was impressed with the cleanliness, amenities, and overall comfort of the place. Slept plenty of men comfortably. The owner was easy to reach and polite. We hope to be back.
