About this property

Cosy Glenelg North home, wood fire, Great location, Sleeps 4-6.

Welcome to Berrima by the Bay
A warm and inviting home in a quiet, family-friendly pocket of Glenelg North. Recently renovated with comfort and ease in mind, it’s a relaxed space to base yourself while enjoying everything the coast and city have to offer.

The home comfortably sleeps four, with flexibility for up to six using the sofa bed — ideal for families or small groups.

Just a 15-minute walk to the bay, with a bus stop only a few minutes away for direct access into Adelaide or down to Glenelg, you’re well positioned to explore — or just stay in and enjoy the space.

Why guests love staying here:
Easy walk to the beach without the noise of being right in the centre
Quiet, family-friendly area with parks and bike paths nearby
Comfortable, practical spaces that make longer stays easy
Generous off-street parking (rare this close to the coast)
A good balance of indoor comfort and outdoor space

The space:
Berrima by the Bay has been thoughtfully updated to create a comfortable, practical stay without losing its relaxed, homely feel.

The lounge looks out over the established front garden and is a cosy spot year-round. In winter, the wood burner makes it warm and inviting, while in summer the ceiling fan and wall-mounted air conditioning keep things comfortable. There’s a 65” smart TV, plus a PS4 and games for quieter nights in. Both light-filtering and block-out blinds give you flexibility throughout the day.

The home has two bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two single beds
Additional sleeping: Sofa bed in the lounge

Both bedrooms include ceiling fans, block-out and light-filtering blinds, and good storage, making them easy spaces to settle into whether you’re staying a few nights or a longer stay.

The bathroom includes a bath and separate shower, along with essential supplies and a hairdryer.

A separate laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board makes longer stays simple and practical.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for an easy stay — whether that’s a quick breakfast before heading out or a slower meal at home. It includes an electric oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, plus extras like a Nespresso machine, rice cooker and sandwich toaster.
The dining table extends to comfortably seat 6 people.

Outdoor areas
Outside, the home opens up to both front and rear gardens.

The front garden is established and provides a sense of privacy and shade, while the secure rear garden offers a lawned area, outdoor seating, and space to relax or for kids to play.

There is also a washing line for practical day-to-day use.

Off-street parking is generous, with up to 22 metres available — ideal if you’re travelling with more than one vehicle, a trailer, or simply want the ease of parking at the door.

The location:
Glenelg North offers a quieter alternative to the main strip while still being close to everything. You’re within easy reach of the beach, local cafés, playgrounds and walking or cycling paths along the coast.

The nearby bus route makes getting into Adelaide simple, so you can head into the city without worrying about parking. It’s an easy base whether you’re here for the beach, exploring the wider area, or just taking a break.

Family-friendly extras:
We know travelling with kids can mean extra gear, so items such as a travel cot, change table and high chair etc. are available on request.

Towels and bed linen are all provided.

Guest access:
The home is entirely yours to enjoy.
A section of the rear garden is fenced off for personal storage, but all main indoor and outdoor areas are fully accessible.

A note from us:
We live nearby, so while you’ll have complete privacy during your stay, we’re always close by if you need anything or have questions. Our aim is simple — to ensure you have a comfortable, easy stay and feel at home while you’re here.
