This cottage is part of miller's mission veterans retreat but is available to rent for the public. Situated on 200 acres of wooded property, you will be surrounded by nature. very peaceful. The cottage is off grid, no electricity, solar power for the lights, fridge and water pump. propane hot water on demand, and propane stove for cooking. BBQ on site. pet friendly. 15 minute drive to the beach. 5 minutes to downtown Bathurst.

Derek was a great host and his clean and tidy cabin was a perfect retreat. He dropped by after our arrival to make sure we understood the off-grid systems and deliver some fresh eggs from his chickens. Wow! He encouraged us to let our dogs be dogs and walk the roads and trails on his beautiful property. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin cozy. We had everything we needed. While there we saw three baby bears, moose tracks and many varieties of birds at the beaver pond. It was sooo peaceful even though we were only minutes from Bathurst. Thank you Derek and all best in your missioñ to create a healing place for veterans.
