Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please strip any beds that you used. You can leave the used sheets on the bed or the floor.
Please load the dishwasher with any dirty dishes. We shall run the dishwasher and put them away.
You may leave your trash in their bins, and place excess in the back room of the basement. We shall dispose of it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please be respectful of the neighbours - noise must be at reasonable levels that will not disturb them between 10pm and 9am.
After the use of any games, please put them back in same manner as they were found.

Matt as a host was super accessible, polite and accommodating. The cottage itself is beautiful, spacious with high ceilings (so you don’t feel closed in like other cottages) has surprisingly comfy beds and most of all super clean. Has a Great Lake with a private dock for swimming and kayaking. Had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

A wonderful place to stay, would highly recommend it, immaculately put together and fantastic access to the late including all sorts of equipment for swimming and paddling. Perfect for families and big groups, pet friendly too! Matty was very kind, accommodating and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone.

It was a wonderful stay and we were greeted very cordially and welcoming by Matt who took us on a tour of the property on check in. The property was clean, well stocked with amenities including linens, toiletries and the games, arcade machines, table tennis and leisure equipment was welcomed and enjoyed by our group immensely. The room air conditioners and satellite TV only made our stay more comfortable and the young ones had more than enough books and puzzles as did the older crowd.We will definitely return and recommend this property for families

We had a really great long weekend stay at the Pinecone Gamezone. We spent most of the time down on the dock enjoying the water and watersports/games provided on the property. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean on our arrival. So many games to play, you'll have to book several week vacation to play them all. Our 2 year old really enjoyed the train set, and there was a nice shallow sandy spot for him to play in down in the water. It's a bit of a steep (but very short) path down to the water, so keep an eye on kids. But otherwise a great family friendly spot. Thanks Matt!

We had a wonderful family reunion at the cottage.Amazing time swimming and jumping into lake.Deck was beautiful spot for lunch.Incredible selection of games for all ages.Very comfortable bedrooms. Highly recommended!

Our family lives in Ottawa, Canada, and we've enjoyed this beautiful property for 4 generations. We are new to listing on VRBO and we want to share the good memories to be had at our little retreat from regular living.

Why they chose this property

Black lake was selected as the ideal lake for us, not only for its natural beauty, clean waters, and abundant wildlife, but also for the short distance to two of our favourite Ontario towns: Perth and Westport.

What makes this property unique

We love to game because it brings people together and strengthens the bonds between family and friends. After many years of collecting board and card games, and bringing them to the table, we want to enable these experiences for our guests so they can also enjoy our library with their family and friends, in a serene and comfortable environment. Of course, in case gaming is not your jamb, we've also gone to lengths to make all of our guests feel at home with all the amenities that would make their stay fun, relaxing and memorable.
