Rooftop Pool & Hyde Park Views: Renovated 14th Floor 1BR: CBD walk, gym, sauna
Set on the 14th floor of a hotel-residential building in Darlinghurst, this apartment was purpose-renovated for professionals and people relocating to Sydney.
The building's rooftop facilities are the standout: a heated pool with panoramic CBD skyline views open year-round from 6:30am–10pm, heated spa, sauna, gym and laundry. Fireworks visible from rooftop and both balconies for NYE and major events.
Fully equipped for extended stays — full kitchen with induction cooktop, dishwasher and espresso machine, fast WiFi, dedicated workspace, two private balconies, blackout curtains throughout and generous storage. Queen bedroom plus sofa bed sleeps up to four.
Location is hard to beat: Hyde Park directly below, Museum Station 2 minutes walk, Central 5 minutes, Town Hall 8 minutes. Chinatown, Darling Harbour and the Eastern Suburbs all within easy reach. Oxford Street dining and cafés at the front door, with Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and East Sydney's restaurant scene extending in every direction.
Ideal for corporate relocations, project stays, and anyone who wants a proper Sydney base rather than a serviced apartment.
Guests have exclusive use of the entire apartment. Building facilities — pool, spa, sauna, gym and laundry — are shared with other residents and guests. Secure lift and key access throughout.
Cleaning and linen changes are not included but can be arranged on request at additional cost. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee — booking the night before or after is recommended to guarantee availability.
Parking available nearby including Wilson Parking on Liverpool Street (daily, weekly and monthly rates) and overnight options at the building subject to availability. The Pullman Hotel next door also offers parking.
Suitable for respectful families — not specifically equipped for infants.

About the host
Your host
Sydney-based host, classical pianist. I renovated this apartment specifically for guests who want a proper base in the city rather than a hotel room — somewhere comfortable enough to actually live in for a few days to weeks or months at a time. I'm responsive through messages and the building has 24 hour concierge for any day-to-day needs.
Why they chose this property
Darlinghurst is one of Sydney's most connected inner-city neighbourhoods — Museum Station is a 2-minute walk, Central is 5 minutes, Town Hall 8 minutes on foot. Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Surry Hills and the Eastern Suburbs are all within easy reach. Oxford Street's restaurants and cafés are at the front door, with Darlinghurst and East Sydney's dining scene extending in every direction. Hyde Park is directly below the building. The rooftop has one of the best vantage points in Sydney for Mardi Gras, NYE fireworks and major events. For anyone wanting to be genuinely central — close to the CBD, transport, food and culture — it's hard to find a better-positioned street in the city.
What makes this property unique
Three things that are genuinely rare in this price range: a one bedroom apartment with a rooftop heated pool and panoramic CBD skyline views, a 14th-floor position directly overlooking Oxford Street, Central station and Hyde Park, and a full renovation to new throughout.
Most inner-Sydney apartments at this level are either well-located or well-finished — this one is both. The building also has a heated spa, sauna and gym, which makes it function more like a boutique serviced apartment than a standard Airbnb. It suits guests who want to actually live somewhere properly for a few weeks, not just sleep there.
