This apartment was great for us. The location was ideal and the place had everything we needed. Host was very good at getting back to us for answering questions, etc. Would stay there again.

The host was amazing and went above and beyond, even making sure essentials like toothbrushes were stocked. You can tell how much care has gone into making the space comfortable and welcoming.The home was **super clean**, family‑friendly, and beautifully set up. The terrace was one of our favourite spots—there’s an amazing BBQ area that isn’t even advertised, and it made our evenings unforgettable. We loved how close we were to everything: downtown, the lake, restaurants, and all the action, just about 10 minutes away.This place truly exceeded expectations. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My review is based on my experience with the owner, Janet. I didn't actually get to stay at my booking, but I had to check the boxes in order to leave a well deserved review. We were not able to stay d/t the fires and resulting heavy smoke that was permeating the air. I am 74 years young, and the reported "very high" air quality would not have been great for me or anyone else, really. We were watchful of conditions and then cancelled our stay just 2 days before our arrival. But luckily we had travel insurance that was offered by VRBO. (or, so we thought). Unfortunately, the insurance does not cover fires unless it displaces you! And consequently smoke does not either. So make sure you pay attention to fine print of the policy you are purchasing.We decided to go ahead and make a claim. I had spoken to Janet when I cancelled and why.....she was very understanding, and has been very receptive and helpful ever since. Janet sent several articles supporting our reasons for cancelling and making a claim, including written proof of the state of emergency issued for Western BC. I was able to send the claim in, but the insurance requested additional information. Honestly, I was timid to ask Janet for more help, but her response was, "no problem"! This experience could have been more painful than it has been. Janet's character and kindness alone will bring me back to book this VRBO in the future, although her home and location look pretty nice!
