Authentic, cozy and comfortable

Loved our visit. The cabin was super cozy and comfortable- easy to build and enjoy our three- night nest. The view, the wool throw blankets, and the firepit were some of my favorite things. Phillip was an excellent host with quick responses to questions and obvious attention to details designed to make guests comfortable in his home. Will definitely come again and bring along friends!

I adored my stay in this heavenly cottage. Everything was so comfortable and cozy. The primary bed is incredibly luxurious, the kitchen is FULLY stocked, and the views and location are simply magical. I loved my walks through the perfect temperatures and stunning landscape and my dog was obsessed with exploring the forest. The host is extremely responsive and dedicated to making sure your stay is just right. I will be back!

This property was amazing! The hosts have gone above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. The location is perfect between Cashiers and Highlands. It has an amazing view of the lake. We loved the home decor. The kitchen is very well stocked and easy to find everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. If you’re there in cooler weather there’s a wood burning fireplace indoors and a solo stove outside on the deck. Please note that there is no cable or satellite television, but we didn’t miss that at all. The wi-fi works great!!! They also have a large selection of dvd movies and board games for rainy days. We took our Boykin Spaniel’s and they had the best time of their lives! We look forward to going back to the Hemlock Hideaway again. Huge thanks to our hosts.
