Cozy cabin

We had such a wonderful time in Shady Shores. Listening to the loons looking over the water. We had the most relaxing time. The cabin is decorated so cute and homey. We enjoyed our stay.

We had such a beautiful and relaxing time at the cabin,such a beautiful place with beautiful views of the lake,I was raised in Shady Shores since I was a child,thankful for the cabin to be exactly what we needed for my daughter and granddaughters to enjoy!! The host were very kind and met ALL OF OUR NEEDS!! We will definitely be back

Shawn was a great host! He went above and beyond to help us navigate putting our boat in and docking our boat. It was a great memory that we made at their cabin. Hometown atmosphere! I loved taking our dogs for a walk in the neighborhood.

The cabin was okay although the foundation is not level! And there were huge hair filled dust bunnies that indicated it had not been vacuumed for quite some time. Doubt the floors were washed either. The host was wonderful though and very accommodating and helpful. The cleaning crew just needs more supervision.

We're glad the location and our hospitality made a positive impression during your stay. That said, we're sorry to hear the cleaning didn't meet expectations, as our crew is on-site after every stay with full supplies and equipment to vacuum and hand wash the floors. We'll be following up with them to make sure this doesn't happen again. As for the foundation, this cabin was built in 1950 and has some slight, long-settled unevenness near the front, especially noticeable after this year's ice storms and rain. We're already planning repairs during the off-season. We appreciate the feedback and are committed to keeping this cabin comfortable and welcoming for future guests.
